You have been successful with your puppies toilet training and all of a sudden they have an accident. Puppies are babies they will have accidents once in a while.

Has it been raining?

One of the problems dogs have with rain is the noise. Puppies can be scared of sounds and rain can make different types of sounds loud and quiet and you have to understand dogs hear nearly twice as many frequencies as humans. They can also hear sounds four times further away.

If you have a covered area then take advantage of this. They need to learn that there is nothing to be afraid of when it is raining if they are in a covered area outside they will hear the rain without getting wet.

You can also use an umbrella but some puppies can be scared by these so it needs to be introduced positively
