Great show yesterday at SWWSPG Autumn show...Meechlands Fire and Ice (Chloe) not been to a show apart from once for 8 yrs had two 1sts and a 2nd and then was chosen as Coloured Champion. Prengwyn Fire Opal also not been anywhere for about 5yrs was not the judges cup of tea but still had a 3rd and a 4th prize. Both girls trotted out beautifully and many thanks to Jackie who helped me to show them both.

Its lovely when owners of ponies you've bred keep in touch with photos and stories. These two are Marcott Daario and Marcott Night King (Wallace & Gromit) 2yr old c**ts owned by Ricki. They have been modelling Shetland rugs for Harry Hall!!!

Pleased to say that I have found the new owners of the two yearlings I Co-bred last year that were sold by my Ex business partner in Worcester sale last week. I am still looking for Lot 234 Tawna Mackeson 3yr old c**t that she also put through the sale.

Went to Carmarthenshire Welsh Pony and Cob Association show yesterday with my two yearling geldings..Flash (Prengwyn Platinum Flash) the Shetland who last came out as a foal last year and Spotty, Floyd, (Oakfielddreams Timone) his first ever show. Both boys were so well behaved and both trotted out beautifully. Flash handled by my friend Jenna had 1st,2nd and res Shetland Champ. Floyd had a 4th and a 2nd. So pleased with both these boys......

Well poor Floyd and Flash my two yearlings were gelded on Tuesday,all went well...Lenny the spotty 2yr old has had a reprieve!!! Dino my driving pony was also gelded 6 weeks ago... his testosterone levels were too much!!

We will hopefully do a few Autumn shows with these two, just to get them out for some experience as yearlings,as they were not mature enough earlier in the year, both due to be gelded soon. Oakfielddreams Timone aka Floyd is the Spotted Falabella Cross and Prengwyn Platinum Flash aka Flash is a miniature Shetland by Tawna Finlay x Seva Right Narna.

Our Summer showing is now over, Jet and Lenny showing till August and then Marley mostly took over in these last few weeks.These are the Shetland results and Championships. We are lucky in this part of Wales to have so many local shows and I have tried to support these this year with mostly Non Shetland judges. The emphais is on FUN and it is great when they hold their own against bigger ponies/horses.

Well my little Spotty boy, Spilsbury Valentino aka Lenny has done me proud showing this year, and we only started in July...included a Supreme IN Hand Champion, Champion Mini Horse, Reserve Foreign breeds Champ and Reserve reserve overall Young stock at the Spotted Breed show!!

What a difference a day makes....yesterday at Tivyside show Dino doing 2 driving classes...got the whiff of a mare in season and lost the plot...several times...he did manage to do some good bits in both classes..hence the nice photo. then today at a local show I took all 30" of my little 2yr old Spotty c**t for some experience before the 2 day Spotted Pony Society Show at Malvern next weekend. Up against all breeds of horses and ponies he came away with 3 1sts and overall In Hand Champion....loads of lovely comments about him!! Looking forward to a lovely couple of days at Malvern!!

Another Happy 30th Birthday. this time to my wonderful Miniature Shetland, Stranduff Maralee. Mara was a good breeding mare, with classic Scottish breeding, for a couple of studs and had quite a few foals. She unfortunately found herself at 23yrs old at our local Horse sale. She was bought by a dealer from the midlands for a paltrey sum and I was informed by a friend that the dealer buys to supply Lion food to West Midlands Safari park!!! Speaking to the dealer it was true and I negotiated a price to purchase her!! What a dear little soul she is, a few weeks later winning Reserve Champion Shetland at a local show!! She sadly lost an eye after an injury a few years ago but coped well with the surgery and after. She lives with another mare and they have access to grazing and a stable all year round. I also managed to buy her piebald granddaughter, Mara's Dream, a few years ago. I am SO pleased that i was in the right place at the right time to give this lovely pony another 7 yrs of life, and hopefully many more

Great results at SWWSPG Autumn show on 15th October...yearling C**t, Marcott Just Jet was 2nd in his class. Tawna Ever So Blue (Henry..gelding) was 1st in the adult class, Miniature Champion and then Reserve Supreme of show to the beautiful Ridden Standard

C**t foal Prengwyn Platinum Flash (Tawna Finley x Seva Right Narna) and Marcott Just Jet yearling c**t , ( Carain Dazzler x Begorra Tiger Lily) at the show on Sunday. Jet had 2 seconds and Flash was 1st and Reserve Overall Champion Shetland

Wonderful day at Great Harwood Show for Marcott Daario, he was 1st in a large class of 8 yearlings, he then went on to be 3rd in a class of 12 Mixed age coloured shetlands!!!
