🎇 Tips for dogs/pets and fireworks 🎆

*I had a very reactive dog and the only way he would be calm during fireworks or storms was being in the car with one of the family 🤍*

GRASS SEEDS 🐾
We have had a number of patients over the last few weeks receiving treatment for Grass seeds.
Grass seeds can burrow into your pets fur and migrate to other areas of the body, causing them to be found in ears, paws and nostrils.
Grass seeds can introduce Bacteria into the area causing redness, swelling and discharge which could be a sign of infection. Please check your animal over when they come back from a walk and where possible avoid taking them into long grass or areas where there are lots of grass seeds.
if your pet is showing any signs of having a possible grass seed such as a swelling, excessive licking in a particular area or shaking its head then please contact one of our Branches to get it checked.
