Look at this gorgeous fella demonstrating perfectly and enjoying his lick mat after our first session last week.
What a little dude he is, he hasn’t had the best start in life but has certainly landed on his paws with his new family.
Lick mats are a great form of enrichment that can help reduce stress and create mental stimulation for our dogs. 🐾

Just a reminder that there may be fireworks over the Jubilee celebration weekend, so from Thursday to Sunday, you need to put support measures in place for your dogs - just in case.

Whatever you think about fireworks, they are a part of life and we have a responsibility to make sure our dogs are protected.

There is no need for any dog to suffer fear and distress through fireworks when there are things you can do to prevent it. And it's not too late, even this week.

A special behind the scenes insight into the rehabilitation journeys of 'the three amigos', three beautiful young Beddie boys who, at just 10 months to three years old, found themselves in rescue as their behaviours were so challenging and distressing, their guardians could no longer safely cope.

And in every case, health issues were at the root of most of those behaviours. Some had already been diagnosed and treated, but were still causing terrible, unseen distress. Some hadn't even been identified, despite extensive vet checks. This is something we see time and time again with our clients and with the dogs we work with in rescue.

We know that transforming health can transform behaviour, but it is often just overlooked or accepted as minor, or 'normal for the breed'. And so the lovely team at Bedlington Terrier Rescue Foundation have kindly allowed us to share these case studies with you to show you how we approach some of these very common, but really very tricky issues with incredible results.

We have been a little quiet on the social media front, it’s been a very busy month catching up with all our existing and new clients!
We are working with some pawsome dogs at the moment with families that want to do the right thing by them!
This little bundle of absolute gorgeousness is 14 weeks 💖 Sadly some people still don’t understand that it isn’t the ‘breed’ that’s the problem but those that give the breed a bad reputation.
This little lovely has a family who adore her and are turning her into a proper ‘credit’ to them and to her breed 🐾💜
