A Massive thanks to all my family that helped. I couldn’t of run it without you all 🥰

🏵️🐶 FUN DOG SHOW 🐶🏵️

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone this Sunday, 1st September, for the Fun Dog Show which is raising much needed funds for Animals in Need. It will be £2 in cash per dog and you will pay as you enter the ring

🚗 Parking. please follow the signs for parking and we will also have staff directing the cars to parking spaces

🐶 Dogs will need to be kept on leads at all times and please pick up after your dogs.
(please ask if you need poo bags).
Please don’t bring any dogs that have been unwell in the past 48 hours before the show.

☀️Weather is looking to be on our side so please do not leave any dogs in your vehicles. There will be plenty of shade and water bowls at the venue

🏵️ Depending on the numbers in each class, we may have to split classes into heats and progress the winners into a final to be placed 1st-6th

🛍️ Lots of lovely shops and the cafe at Old Dairy Farm Craft Centre will be open on the day and they’re all dog friendly

🐝 Rivendell bees will be doing talk throughout the day on bee keeping

💰 There will also be various stalls on the day so you made require cash for some of them as the signal isn’t always the greatest.

🐻 Teddy Tombola prize every time and a kids colouring table

🥫Food Bank will be collecting on the day for both humans and pets. If you wish to donate please drop it round to Millie’s Mucky Pups

🏵️Only a week to go now and weather is looking to be on our side 🤞

🏵️Who’s going to win a rosette ????? We have 10 classes and placing is 1st-6th

🏵️ Dog show starts at 11am £2 entry ( cash as you enter ring )

🏵️ Stalls can set up from 9.30am in the courtyard(£10 cash donation) come and find me at Millie’s before you set up so I can show you where you will be.

🐶All money raised on the day will be donated to Animals in Need Northamptonshire who always do a fantastic job for all the animals in their care 🥰

🐶I will also be collecting on the day for the McCarty Dixon Foundation food bank so any donation of pet or human food will be appreciated

We are looking for an experienced dog grooming stylist to join our team on a full time basis, working on a fixed weekly rota, including 3 Saturdays per month. Part time hours also considered.

Stylist responsibilities & requirements -

🐾 Fully qualified to Level 3, working towards or willing to work towards this qualification

🐾 At least 2 years styling experience required

🐾 Must be confident and able to groom to both customer requirements & breed standard, including hand stripping

🐾 You will ensure high standards of customer service at all times, building customer relations and ensuring repeat custom

🐾 You must put first the welfare needs of your furry clients at all times, working safely and within the guidelines of all relevant legislations

We worry about heatstroke, and rightly so! Temperatures like we are seeing this week are dangerous for many pets.

Fly strike is another potential summer hazard. A dog with diarrhoea, especially if hairy can get a dirty bottom! And that’s how the process begins. Maggots can burrow through skin and make a pet so seriously ill. So check those bottoms and keep them clean!
