🌞🌞 it’s set to be another hot few days next week! Just to reassure those with appointments for their pooches, my salon is fully air conditioned so it will be cool and comfortable, blow drying will be done on a cold setting and there will be plenty of fresh drinking water available. Please make sure you avoid walking your dog to the salon if the temperature is high even if you live close by- an air conditioned car is always much safer than hot pavements! 🌞🌞

This weekend can be really stressful for dogs (and all animals) both of mine are getting more anxious with fireworks as they get older 😩 so thought I’d share this Incase anyone is struggling to calm their furry friend down. Classical music is one of many things that can really help. Alexa devices will also play classical sounds if you ask her ‘Alexa, calm my dog’ clever huh?
Gentle strokes, a happy hoody type stretchy headband around the head and ears can help muffle bangs, lots of comfort + try not to act stressed around them as they pick up on everything. 🐶🐾🐶

Today was Nalas first visit with me and she was very nervous. I took a while just letting her explore and chill out before even thinking about popping her on the grooming table. With lots of patience and reassurance we ended up with a really positive groom.
She liked the view from the salon window too👉🏼 Neighbourhood watchdog 👀
