‼️ British Breeding Stallion Event ‼️

Headleys Deluxe will be heading to the British Breeding Futurity and Competition Stallions Stallion Event 2023 next week on Saturday 4th February at Addington Equestrian.

Come and meet Ralph in person at the stables and watch him perform in the ring.

Headleys Deluxe has been to the 6 and 7 year old Eventing World Championships at Le Lion D’Angers in 2021 and 2022 most recently finishing on his dressage score. He has had wins at Novice and Intermediate level, been a BYEH 4 year old finalist and has had double clear FOD’s at every level up to CCI-L3*!

Did you know he was also the highest ranked 7 year old stallion in the UK throughout 2022 according to the BE Stat Centre Howden Way 7 year old league powered by Equiratings.

The event opens at 09:00, with the Eventing Stallions performing from 10:30. Stables will open at 12:30 where you can meet and ask questions about the stallions.

Headleys Deluxe is all settled in for his winter holiday at after his superb end to the season finishing on his dressage score with a phenomenal double clear at 7 year old Eventing World Championships! 🇮🇹🏇💨🇫🇷🌍🏆

We are very excited to announce that next season Headleys Deluxe will be available for 🌍WORLDWIDE DISTRIBUTION🌍 for frozen semen in 2023!

He will also still be available throughout the breeding season with fresh, chilled and frozen for UK mare owners. 🇬🇧

Headleys Deluxe and Giovanni Ugolotti delivered a foot perfect double clear to finish on their dressage score at 7 year old world championships!

Ralph has been phenomenal all week and really stepped up to the challenge in his first run at the level in the CCI-L 3*. We are beyond proud of Ralph, Gio and Charlie and the team at Cranford Stud for bringing the best out of Ralph and treating him like a king day in day out.

Course walk ✅

Very proud of Ralph and today in the dressage. Ralph soaked up the atmosphere and tried incredibly hard. Sadly the mark was a harsh reflection of the test delivered, but that’s dressage.

There is plenty of jumping to look forward to this weekend, with lots of questions for horse and rider.

Tomorrow we look forward to watching and supporting our team mates Milo (Kimbal) 🤞🏻🍀

Home from a lovely couple of days at the beautiful in the CCI-S 3*. Ralph was very happy to be out with a fresh couple of rounds. No cross country this time, as we look forward to Osberton 7 year old National Young Horse Championships in a couple of weeks time.

We want to wish , and the whole team at the best of luck in Pratoni for the World Equestrian Games next week with Duke of Champions! 🤞🏻🍀🇮🇹

Duke of Champions is another close relative of Headleys Deluxe as they share the same sire in Duke of Hearts.

In case you missed it here is Headleys Deluxe and Giovanni Ugolotti’s round in the Stallion Parade at The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials Official Page. Ralph obviously thought he was here for the big event, but enjoyed showing himself off to the crowd!

As always we are so proud of everything Gio and Ralph have achieved so far as a young horse and we hope it may continue long into the future.

BURGHLEY HORSE TRIALS STALLION PARADE

We are very excited to have been invited by and to showcase Headleys Deluxe at the Stallion Parade.

Please come and meet Headleys Deluxe and after the stallion parade in the warmup arena by Ring 2.

The stallion parade will take place at 12:45pm in Ring 2 between the BYEH classes on Friday 2nd September 2022.

Super first day at Wellington International Horse Trials! 7 year old stallion, Headleys Deluxe delivered a strong test of 31.8, to hold 4th place overnight in the CCI-S 3* for his first attempt at the level.

On Wednesday morning we welcomed this beautiful little filly into the world. She has been long awaited as she if the first foal by our own 7 year old stallion, Headleys Deluxe (Duke of Hearts xx x Casall ASK x Acord II) out of our mare Pro (Pro-Set x Nepal x Ivotino xx). With a combination of top dressage, showjumping and thoroughbred bloodlines, she is a super modern stamp, and carries over 60% thoroughbred blood. Hopefully she will bring forward her parents athleticism.

Here’s hoping she has a very bright future ahead of her! 🤞🏻

HEADLEYS DELUXE WINS THE INTERMEDIATE AT FARLEY HALL

Super day out with Headleys Deluxe at Farley Hall Horse Trials, with a competitive dressage of 29.8 followed by a speedy double clear for an easy win in his Intermediate section. For only his second run at the level we are thrilled with the fantastic attitude of our 7 year old stallion.

Friday saw Headleys Deluxe step up to Intermediate level at Little Downham Horse Trials.

Gio and Ralph had a super day, with Ralph taking it all in his stride for a top ten finish! We are over the moon with how confident and straightforward he made the course look.

Huge thanks to the Cranford Stud Eventing team and for turning Ralph out so beautifully!

Rising 4 year old 17hh grey gelding by Ulano M (Tolano Van t’ Reithof x Atlantic VDL) out of our beautiful Duke of Hearts xx x Cassini II x Landor S mare. Exceptionally kind hearted horse who tries his best every day.

Ulano M has already sired GP dressage, GP show jumping and advanced event horses from his small crop of offspring. Duke of Hearts xx is a German Thoroughbred stallion with offspring competing internationally in eventing and show jumping, including siring our lovely stallion Headleys Deluxe. Previous offspring from the mother have sold to 5* event riders.
