Oh look at this handsome, gorgeous boy! Up for rehoming at RSPCA West Norfolk .... He won't take up that much room...🤣🤣
When the owner is away, it's silly dog training play 🤣 a fun walk in the woods, seeking out other dogs and practicing recall..Ronnie and myself tongues a wagging 😂
The loveable very big Branston, a rare one for me of a Presa Canario breed, who has become dog/bike reactive on walks, he used to struggle with destructive behaviours and we worked on these last year, his owners are now using techniques to manage and help him be prepared to handle situations to make walks less of a worry and more of a pleasure. Aswell as practicing lead handling....his size could intimidate people, he is the biggest dog I know and I own a Tibetan Mastiff 😂. Yet he's an utter softer if only people knew!
This is the handsome Kobi, he's developed a not so attractive habit of eating yucky things out on his off lead walks, as well as forgetting his recall habits due to his desire for finding his own treats. We've touched on impulse control, the foundations of 'leave it', practiced recall methods and plan to move this into areas of distraction next...the real tester 🤣
Today was Ollies first session and he did fantastic. He is reactive to humans entering the home, dogs outside, the doorbell and other noises. All of which he handles by barking, we are working on ways to settle Ollie and giving him alternative methods to cope. I am looking forward to his training journey and helping his owners enjoy a quieter time with this beautiful boy

Why.....whhhhy are people out walking their dogs??...they are the same as us, they've not had the weather and temperature to adjust too and the drastic soar in temperatures have meant it just isn't pleasant nor safe for them to be out in it...its been blustery and raining and now we are experiencing a heatwave, classic UK style, we put less clothes on and pop the fans on, not bob your fur jacket on and go out for a midday stroll. Common sense isn't a given, it doesn't matter how many times it's shared, or said, people continue to take them out panting and stressed in the heat. It's frustrating...My training sessions if they are only able to take place outside have been rescheduled for evenings - the woofers are what I worry about and luckily all of my clients agree. Enjoy the sun, stay hydrated and keep well.

Just an update on monies raised by the dog show I attended and judged at on Sunday...What fantastic results!!
Brambles Animal Sanctuary I am so pleased for you, aswell the Foulden village hall and local church. Well done to everyone xx
The beautiful Ziggy did fantastic during his first session today, and by the end he was walking without pulling for the first time since he's been in his new home. His owners are excited to practice on his focus and lead work until his next session
Well done to all the contestants in the dog show! It's so hard to pick winners, because each and every dog interests me 🙈🙊. Even though the sun was out and it was very warm, lots of water, paddling pool and drinking stations with shaded gazebos to keep dogs out of the heat and hydrated were available. Which was so important. As always lovely to meet the owners and hear stories about their family pets. And an ice cream with my little bestie Frazer to complete the afternoon.
This would be an amazing addition to the centre. It can be so overwhelming for the dogs in the kennels and it's an ongoing want of the staff to provide enrichment for the dogs in their care. This on site sensory garden would offer some much needed stress relief for all the beautiful dogs waiting for their forever homes.
We are looking to raise £500 to help fund a sensory & enrichment g… Charlotte Moore needs your support for sensory & enrichment garden for RSPCA west norfolk
Gain that sympathy vote.. you leave not embarrassed and they say 'ahh what a lovely dog' everyone's happy.... I mean I am sure it's been done 🤣
Really excited to announce that I am Judging at the Foulden fete dog show this Sunday. Please arrive by 12 to register your fab doggies into their categories and judging starts at 1.30pm. Lots of family fun to be had, so head down for a fun day out!
😆😆
We all know I am dog obsessed. But animals in general. Are just wonderful, amazing and a joy to share life with 🥰❤️
This man gets it. Legend.
Dogs need guidance, love and to be shown how- if they don't understand it, then teach them another way. Simple. Break it down into smaller steps so they can succeed.
Don't use aversive tools and 'alpha' male attitude to prove you can get results. Because that just makes you a d*ck, in my personal opinion, Happy Saturday 😆.
Welcoming my tiniest new member to PMP training, the adorable Poppy, who is starting her training journey with all the puppy basics, her owners want to get her on the right track right from the beginning. She's going to ace it, can't wait to watch her grow and learn 🐕😍🐾
The loveable Roxy, looking forward to a training session with this fussy girl this afternoon, paws on floors, lead work and door manners are part of the plan. A hot one outside so we will be in and out of the house keeping her comfortable and in the best mindset to learn.
Downham Pet Support is now continuing walks and training with the lovely Barney, his owner currently has a shoulder issue so these walks are so essential for him, to keep him socialising, learning and building confidence, he spent 7 years running around farmland and so to walk on the lead and be in busier environments can be frustrating and challenging for him, but he's getting better all the time. And he's bloooody cute as 🙊🐕🐾
Bank Holiday Monday and a date with a Doberman. Ronnie has shown anxiety and fear aggression, and he isn't too pleased when people come into his Dads office space, but today within a short space of time, we could leave Dad for a few minutes and he was actually coming by choice to say hello to the crazy dog lady 🤣. Looking forward to our next session building his confidence and seeing him feel more relaxed in his environment when others are around aswell as other training he needs to help make life happier for Dad and Doberman 😍. It's so important to make those first interactions healthy one's as you manage a situation and you lead into training. Set them up for success not failure.
Oh poor little poppet. Any animal, anywhere in the world deserves love ❤️

Can you help find a loving home for a terrier-cross Romanian rescue who is up for adoption at Safe Rescue for Dogs in Norfolk?
This beauty is Bailey, he is a very excitable cuddly bundle, and is learning how to greet his visitors at the door aswell as lots of other helpful puppy basics. He did fab during his first session.
Love it...x

'oh you are a dog trainer, your dog must be so well behaved' hmm- 'shes complicated', but shes managed. Shes got a list of trauma issues that we deal with day to day. But she's not the same dog. She's come on leaps and bounds and I am so proud of her. She was very well behaved when just relaxed at home, she slept in her spots, super clean inside, rarely barked, wouldn't dream of running off if the doors open etc. Since the move, she's very alert, she's constantly following us around, she's not settled yet due to works going on both in the house and in the garden, she's acting differently with her mealtimes, not straight to her bowl like she normally would, she is back to looking around and not eating it in one go, maybe 3 comings and goings. When we first got her she used to take a small amount and run away and eat it. It took 5 months for her to eat it in full and not take it away. She has also been around the front door and got out!. She didn't run off. But she didn't come straight back in like she always has every single time in the past 3 years at our previous house, she took a little totter down the road and I had to get the lead and go and get her, she then wandered back like nothing had happened. She's been more vocal than ever before, she's never been a barker, but some of the new sounds in the first week made her nervous. But she's settling more as we are approaching week 3 with her barking. So it's back to managing her needs, training her in her new routine, helping to settle her and some open doorways training that I wasn't expecting to have to 'teach' her again. Shes complex. But she's my girl and I will work with the dog infront of me and do what they need me to do for them...
Maggie was extremely anxious and on high alert looking in all directions when she was out walking, she becomes reactive, whining, barking and lunging at dogs, birds....and the random turkey we came across 🙈 but her Mum is doing an amazing job staying calm and teaching Maggie how to redirect her focus and stay much calmer. Even after a short time she is doing so well and yesterday left her home in a calm way with her resident dog brother and buddy Max. She is a full on cuddler and has the sweetest nature. 🐕🐾❤️
