Terrible camera work, phone holder on order 🤣BUT Not dragging his mama up the street ⭐️ not lunging at the vans ⭐️ not barking at the planes coming over⭐️! But he did decide to have a little moan at a cat, which is new 😆 but he soon remembered what we were doing, and settled straight back down and then befriended Z cat. We were giving his heavily pregnant Mummy a break off the leash and he was hanging out with me, checking in with that eye contact is half the battle, take the win 🏆 ゚viralシ

Today I met with this beautiful boy 'Ari' aswell as his wonderful family, we've discussed methods moving forward to help with those first puppy weeks, teething, toileting, napping and more! Looking forward to seeing how he grows up and settles into his new home.

Giving his daddy the puppy dog eyes.

Spaniels are so much fun, loveable, daft and clever little souls!, Rex is learning what is appropriate to chew, he enjoyed chasing his small human around, grabbing and playing with them, which was super fun for him, but not so fun for the little lad.

So now he is learning what he can chew on to help those teeth come through.

Next is helping to give his young playmate confidence when Rex is in full duracell bunny mode, so play is fun for both parties and they can build a best friend bond between a little boy and his first doggy

The not so little 'Little' 🤣 absolutely wonderful dog, super smart and loving, but with a new baby on the way, it's time to work on some lead pulling and reactive behaviours so Mum can relax into the next chapter with dog and baby 🐕👶

The puppy mouthing/biting stage can be so overwhelming, but do remember that it is a phase. I can help your dog manage this with consistent and calm training methods. You can get through it 😁. This is a priority for Coopers owners as he is a grabbing, sharp toothed rascal 😆 we are working on biting, settled behaviour, lead work and more!

Keeping your dog safe at Halloween

Howls in the Night

October is upon us, the ghouls and ghosts appear.
Little children excited, they shout and they cheer.
As school comes to an end, waiting for dark,
To get dressed up and head through the park.
The streets, local houses for trick or treat.
With ghosts and goblins under feet,

Your furry friend may shake and fret,
From sights and sounds they can't forget.
The costumes strange, the noises loud,
The knocking doors, the laughing crowd,
Can stir up fear, ignite a storm,
Where once your dog felt safe and warm.

So keep them close, with calming care,
In quiet spaces, soft and fair.
A cozy bed, a gentle light,
Will ease their worry through the night.

Give them love and time to hide,
From all the chaos wild outside.
For though it’s fun for us to see,
Halloween can bring anxiety.

So as the pumpkins glow and gleam,
Let safety be your guiding theme.
With treats and toys to keep them brave,
Your dog will know they’re always safe.

I met the gorgeous Treacle this afternoon, she is doing amazing in her new home but isn't very settled in the car. Her mums on it, with lots of encouragement, treats and love to get her to be able to relax on her journeys. Its early days and she will get there.
