I have seen so much of this recently, dogs with poor recall off lead. After recent events this week it’s easy to see why this can cause major problems. You never really know what type of dog you are walking towards even if they appear friendly. If the dog ahead is on the lead, make sure yours is 😀 This could save so much heartache and potential vets fees!

Hello people! Hope your well.
At the moment it’s looking like the 12th of April for any potential reopening. I am just waiting to see if their is any further clarification specifically for the pet industry, hopefully within the next couple of days. I will then be in touch with everyone to get appointments booked in. Obviously this is all subject to no other changes from the government!! 😀

Hello All

Apologies for the long statement but just to make you aware of some changes.

The government said we could perform “welfare” grooms which was a little sketchy on the 5th of jan.

However this week DEFRA have published more guidance around what a welfare groom should be.

This is frustrating to me and most groomers, as we consider regular grooming essential to preventing the need for a welfare groom.

A welfare groom is for when a pet is in pain or discomfort, and DEFRA has advised we assess each case on a dog by dog basis.

I am asking you to consider if the dog is in pain or discomfort. If not we can rebook.

I’m sorry for any inconvenience this has caused unfortunately I can’t operate my business as normal until the lockdown lifts.

I would hate myself or my customers to get into trouble over this.

Happy New Year everyone! 😄

In light of yesterday’s announcement I will be remaining open only for welfare grooms, and will not be taking on any new customers during this period.
If you just require a bath I would ask you hang fire until the lockdown period is over, or until we have any further clarification from the government 😀.
Please follow the COVID-19 policy I have in place, and be mindful making the trip as part of another essential journey where you can. Thanks for your support Amy 😀
