My name is Jassy Brown and my mum and I have owned American Paint horses for 5yrs, we currently own 3 registered paint mares and half paint mare , 5 years ago I learnt to ride and my mums love of western riding soon got me interested too , I love taking part at our local club The LazyG and last year did a weekend cattle camp which was amazing , Our Mare Paintbox so classy had a lovely foal called Sequoia's war paint who we have started just recently, Throughout 2022 I bought classy back into work as I wanted to compete in reining and despite classy never reining before we competed in the youth class and green as grass L1 which taught me quite a lot , it's hard to remember the patterns and to ride a horse that also doesn't quite know what she's doing , anyway we had loads of fun and met alot of really nice people and classy took it all in her stride and always did her best and looked after me , we even managed our first NRHA trophy and a lovely Rosette from UKAPHA and also a British reining end of year high point and the end of year youth high point UKAPHA, I was so pleased that we achieved all that in one year , Iam currently training in France at Quarter Horse 55 under the guidance of Morgan Eustache & Camille and have attended my first Reining competition which I really enjoyed , on an everyday basis I assist with the training of Paint horses and quarter horses of different ages and have learnt a great deal, I'd like to thank everyone within the UK paint horse association for their continued help and support, I hope to be back riding our paint horses towards the end of the year . It is with much regret that I must inform you all that I am unable to join you at our Annual Gathering Camp and Show this year.
My poor little girl has felt so not listened to that she refuses to even think about loading on the trailer. We are, as you can see, working on this but it takes the time it takes.
However, I do plan to be at the Show on Saturday if anyone would like to speak to me about anything to do with UKPHA or APHA.
