We've had a budgie handed into this morning after being found in the Brockmoor area 🐦He is very tame so is clearly very loved by someone and we would love to renuite them 🥰.

💜 Fun Day! 💜
On Sunday 28th July, we will be at Netherton Cricket Club! 10am - 4pm.
There will be a Dog show, food stalls, craft stalls, live music & games for the kids!
We will have a stand and be raising money for Monarch's Mutts Dog Rescue 🐾
If any of our wonderful clients have any unwanted items/gifts that they would like to donate to a brilliant cause, please drop them into our practice this week! 🥰❤️

A microchip has been found but unfortunately the details aren't working😞

***UPDATE REUNITED WITH OWNER***
We are so pleased to say that this little girl has been reunited with her owner after strolling into the Bathams Pub last night!
She is now safe back with her owners and booked in to be microchipped.
Unfortunately we have had a cat escape from its Carrier in our car park. She was last seen in our car park but hasn't been spotted since, She is black and white and isn't wearing a collar.
She is very nervous and may be hiding in someone’s garden/shed etc
Please share & keep your eyes open and contact us if any sightings or if you are able to get hold of her 💜

💚 Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month 💚
We couldn’t let May come to an end, without recognising our wonderful Veterinary Nurses! ☺️
Here at Cottage Spring, our Nursing team is at the very heart of our practice ❤️
Becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse requires between 2-4 years of studying.
The day in the life of a Veterinary Nurse is never dull!
A few duties include:
🐾 Caring for inpatients
🐾 Running weight clinics
🐾 Monitoring patients during surgery
🐾 Placing IV cannulas
🐾 Administering medications & 2nd vaccinations
🐾 Obtaining blood samples
🐾 Taking X-Rays
We are SO proud of our brilliant team of Nurses! And very grateful for their hard work, each and everyday! 🥰❤️

Sadley, we have had a deceased cat handed into our practice this morning.
He is an unneutered black and white cat and was found in Lower Derry Street, Brierley Hill, near Bodmin/Booth Court.
We cannot locate a microchip.

Our Easter opening hours are
Friday 29th March - 8am - 12:30
Saturday 30th March- 9:30am - 12:30
Sunday 31st March - CLOSED
Monday 1 April - CLOSED
Tuesday 2nd April onwards normal opening hours (8am until 7pm)

💜PET OF THE MONTH💜
February’s Pet of the Month goes to the lovely Biggz! 🥰
Biggz was feeling very poorly…
After carrying out some investigations, X-rays showed an obstruction in the small intestine.
Biggz underwent a surgical procedure to remove, what turned out to be a peach stone!
Biggz was very lucky this time and has now made a full recovery & came in recently to show us all how well he is doing!

💜PET OF THE MONTH💜
Our January’s Pet of the Month goes to our wonderful girl Pamela 🥰❤️
Pamela was recently bought in as a stray, by a member of the public as she was found collapsed in the road.
Our vets examined Pamela & obtained several blood samples. The results came back that Pam was Hyperthyroid.
Our Vet, Goncalo performed a thyroidectomy to remove the abnormal thyroid gland. This is thanks to the generous crontributions, made by our lovely clients & staff, which help us treat stray animals like Pamela.
Pam is recovering brilliantly and has now gone off to enjoy retirement, in her new home 👵🏼❤️

We've had this dog handed into the practice this afternoon found running around Chawn Hill/Rufford Road in Stourbridge.
The dog is microchipped but we are unable to get hold of the owner registered.
