💜Today is the day!💜

Come and join our Nursing team at Netherton Cricket Club for a fabulous day! 🐾

We will be raising money for our wonderful local dog rescue Monarch's Mutts Dog Rescue! 🐶
There will dog shows, food stalls, craft stalls and many more! 🩵☀️

A few of our Veterinary team members will be running a stall at Netherton’s Cricket Club’s FUN DAY!

Every penny taken will be donated straight to Monarch's Mutts Dog Rescue towards baby Bluey’s treatment & surgery ❤️

🩵 We would be SO grateful for anyone who is able to donate any unwanted items/gifts for this amazing cause!
Any donations can be dropped off with our reception team 🥰

***STRAY CAT***

We've had a black and white cat brought into us this morning and unfortunately they were not microchipped and on welfare grounds sadly the little one had to be put to sleep.

The little one was small, had a black body with white underbelly/chest, two front white paws and two mainly white black legs with a black stripe on one of the back legs. White strip down their nose and white whiskers.

** This little angel is still looking for a new home, he's thriving so much but is desperate for lap to curl up on 🥰**

🩵 REHOME POST! 🩵

A week ago, this sweet boy was bought into our practice, after being found collapsed in the road.
Our vets & nursing team have been working so hard to get this little man better! And he has been receiving around the clock care ❤️
He has been diagnosed with mycoplasma hemolytic anaemia and was very close to not making it.
With treatment and very close monitoring, our little hero is on the road to recovery.

We are now looking for a permanent home! If you think you could offer this little angel a home, please get in touch with us!

PLEASE SHARE - so we can get this boy the loving home he deserves! 🥰

He really is the sweetest kitty! Loves fuss and very purry 🥹❤️

💜Raffle time & Donations!💜

We have kindly had this lovely hamper donated to us! So we can continue to raise money for the AMAZING Bluey! Who is currently under Monarch's Mutts Dog Rescue ‘s care.
Blu likely needs surgery, which will be carried out by a specialist ❤️‍🩹
His story is on Monarchs’s Mutt’s page if you wish to follow this incredibly, brave pup’s journey! 🥹

Have a go and let’s help get this boy the treatment he needs and support our lovely local dog rescue! 🥰

Tickets will be £2 a go or £5 a strip!

PAYMENT NEEDS TO BE MADE AT THE VETS AND COLLECT YOUR TICKETS 😀

💚International Veterinary Nurses Month!💚

As Veterinary Nurses Awareness Month comes to an end, we would like to say a huge Thank you to our wonderful Nurses here at Cottage Spring Veterinary Centre! 🥰

Here are just some of the things our nurses carry out here, at Cottage Spring Vets -

🐾Consultations, Including- weight clinics, post-op checks, pre-neuter checks, 2nd vaccinations, laser treatment, and collecting blood samples
🐾Assisting with euthanasias
🐾Taking X-rays
🐾 Assisting with ultrasounds
🐾Assisting with surgery - monitoring anaesthetics
🐾Responding to emergencies
🐾Issuing flea and worming treatments, and signing off on medications
🐾Preparing patients for surgery and nursing inpatients
🐾Lab work – Including running blood tests an urinalysis

We are so grateful for our incredible nurses We simply couldn’t do it without you! 🩷

Our out of hours vets (YourVets in smethwick) will still be open if you have an emergency. If you call our number (01384 389045) it will take you straight through to them.
