It has been a week of very long days with early starts and late finishes.
The dogs this week have been: R, N, L, SR, SM, HT, Tiny M and H. There were also cat visits to B + S, the S siblings, M + P and ginger S.
There are too many photos so will be in two posts.
Photos part one (Monday - Wednesday) are here.
This weekend we had visits to cats M and P and also to the S siblings.
We also had the gorgeous R come to stay. We had our walks early in the morning on the Common. Both walks involved R getting thoroughly soaked but at least that kept her cool for a bit. Mr APC offered to take her out in the evening but she refused to go with him.
Friday started with visits to cats M and P and then on to the S siblings before H arrived for the day. We had our walk at Ashtead Park but there are no photos because I forgot to take my mobile. She had lots of play, fuss and cuddles; I think she was making up for the two Fridays that I was away. After H returned home it was back to cats M and P where we had a play.
On Thursday, we had Tiny M and SR here and our walk was on the Common.
There were also a couple of visits to cats M and P.
On Wednesday we had R, SM and SR here. We met up with a friend for a walk at Fetcham Splash.
I also paid a couple of visits to cats M and P.
And now on to this week.
On Tuesday there were a couple of visits to cats M and P.
The dogs here were L, SM and SR and we had our walk on the Common.
On Wednesday 31st July it was just SM here and we had our walk at Crampshaw.
On Thursday 1st August it was the turn of Tiny M and SR and our walk was on the Common.
I'm on a catch-up today with photos from the last couple of weeks.
Tuesday 30th July we had L, N, SM and SR here and we had our walk early on the Common due to the heat.
How sweet is this? I don't think I'll try this with any of the dogs here; I would either be given an hard paw body massage or wet tongue and smelly breathe facial 🤣.

On Thursday, H was joined by Tiny M and SR and we had our walk on the Common.
H had me all to herself on Friday and, as it was due to be hot, we had an early walk at Ashtead Park. We had lots of resting and then time for play in the evening when it had cooled down a bit.
On Saturday H was joined by W. They were both very good but I think H was put out by having a visitor and, to make things worse, he had the cheek to play with HER favourite ball!
As I was without a car on Tuesday, a friend collected me, H and SR and we had a walk on Oxshott Heath.
On Wednesday H was joined by L, R and SR. We met up with a friend for a walk at Horton Country Park.
Somebody's made herself so comfortable that there's no space for me in MY bed 🤣🤣🤣
On Friday H came to stay. She seemed to like being the only one here again and getting all of the attention.
On Saturday morning I actually held a sort of conversation with H. She was all excited to go out for our walk but, when we got outside, she only went as far as the edge of the driveway. I said to her "Shall we go this way then?" and we walked to the other side of the driveway before she stopped again. As she has previously made it known that she'd rather go out in the car I reasoned with her that, as we didn't have the car, it wasn't an option. She turned around and headed back to the front door. We ended up playing in the garden instead. In the afternoon we were joined by R. H was happy for the company and, this time, was distracted by R and we managed to have a short walk.
Sunday started with some suffocating cuddles from H upstairs, soon followed by more suffocation cuddles from R downstairs. We had our walk on the Common followed by more time in the garden. After R returned home H was happy to work at getting some treats from a sealed cardboard tube.
Today H was joined by P and they both snuggled up to me while I had my breakfast. We were soon joined by C. They had some play before we went out for our walk.
Today we had R, SM and SR here. We met up with a friend for a walk at Young Street. In the afternoon they each enjoyed finding some treats in a crumpled up piece of paper.
Today Little M was joined by L, SM and SR for the day.
We had our walk at Oxshott Heath and they had a good game of chase amongst themselves and also with a few other dogs too.
In the afternoon we were joined by HT. We had some play in the garden and then a rest indoors.
Today Little M was joined by C for a walk at Headley Heath.
He also enjoyed watching the world go by from the upstairs window and had a game of chase when my son visited for the afternoon.
Saturday started with a fairly leisurely cuppa upstairs joined by L, Little M and MB. After breakfast, L returned home. I went on to visit cats B and R and then on to the S cats. Then, to the joy of Little M and MB, it was a trip out onto the Common. There was time spent in the garden in the afternoon before dinner and MB returning home.
Today, again, was a slow start. Although Little M enjoys having canine company, he does like his normal routine when it is just him here. After a leisurely start, I went to visit the S cats and then took Little M for his walk on the Common.
Yesterday started with a visit to cats B and R. The dogs here were Little M, MB and SR. We met up with a friend for a potter at Preston Grove. The dogs were all tired from the last couple of very busy days so slept for much of the day. In the evening SR returned home but we were soon joined by H. I also paid another visit to cats B and R. Later in the evening I took the dogs out for a short walk on the Common.
This morning I visited the cats before giving the dogs their breakfasts. L came to join us and we went for a mystery walk at Princes Coverts. Luckily we ended up going in the right direction and found our way back to the car. H returned home and I went to feed the cats.
Here are some photos from the last couple of days.
