Monty 🤎🤍

We welcomed new boy Monty on board today for The Works.

Monty is a lively long haired Collie and was just a little gent.

He had a good deshed, rake and brush out to lift that dead undercoat and a nice scissor finish to trim any split ends… because doggies get them too!

🌈 Goodnight Mr Samson 🌈

We received the devastating news today that one of our gang, Samson the giant poodle X crossed rainbow bridge at the weekend.

Samson was recently diagnosed with cancer which quickly took over.

Sending all our love to Louise and family on your heartbreaking loss.

Sleep well Samson and thank you for all your cuddles 🐾💔

My First Groom 🐾

Meet Teddy!

Teddy is a 5 month old Shih Tzu X Yorkshire Terrier and is super energetic. He’s also very very fond of cuddles and who am I to turn a puppy snuggle down? 🤪

Teddy had his first groom today - a wash, blow dry, nail clip, paw trim and face trim.

Isn’t he just adorable 🥰

Maisie 🌟 Star of the Week

We recently had Miss Maisie on board for The Works.

Maisie joined us around 4 months ago with severe anxiety when we went near her twinkle toes. Now with the use of our Happy Hammock and some gentle persuasion, she’s a little Angel when it comes to clipping her legs and trimming those grinch toes.

Miss Maisie is our star of the week for coming so far and growing her confidence in such a short space of time.

Well done Maisie and we look forward to seeing you in January!

There’s no escaping a mini groom when Mammas the real boss!

After a long walk through all the muddy fields with Dad… the bath was waiting for this one!

Still not a fan of the drier (biggest wimp ever) we part dried before a quick trim, butt deshed and tail detangle.

He’s now conked but at least he smells better 🥰

Miss Polly 💖

It’s not just puppies we get to cuddle all day…

We had our beautiful old lady Polly on board again today for a wash and tidy.

Polly is a 15 year old Springer Spaniel with fading eyesight and hearing. But she gives the best kisses 🥰

We take our time with Miss Polly so she can have breaks throughout to sit down and rest.

Sky 🤍

We had the delightful Sky - a 6 month old Labrador - on board today for her first groom.

Sky had a wash and blow dry, deshed and nail clip while getting used to the sights and sounds within the grooming environment and was a total star throughout.

Of course we also stole lots of cuddles with this sweet girl 🤍

Wilf 🧡

The handsome Wilf was back on board for his first big boy groom recently.

Having had his first groom on board a few weeks back, Wilf returned for his first coat clip. In order to ensure his coat grows in healthily, we kept him nice and long so as not to damage any under coat.

Just look at his little wig 🧡🧡🧡

We look forward to seeing this handsome boy again in the new year as his coat continues to grow.

My First Groom 🌟

We recently had the gorgeous Barney on board for his first groom.

Barney is a 6 month old Cavapoo and just the cuddliest little boy that ever stepped onto the van!

He was such a brave boy throughout his puppy intro and a star in the bath and with his nails.

After a few cuddle breaks he even mastered the drier!

We can also now see those gorgeous eyes 🥰

Well done Barney and we look forward to seeing you in January for a big boy groom!

Willows First Groom 💝

We had the gorgeous Willow, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy on board today for her first groom.

She was so brave having her nails clipped and filed and had a little snooze while being dried - she definitely enjoyed the warmth of the drier 🥰

After lots of cuddles, she was very excited to get back to Mum for a nice long snooze.

Handsome Samson 🖤

If ever there was an after photo of a dog totally in love with their fresh fur… this is it!

We had the super handsome Samson on board today for a tidy up. Samson had a couple of naughty knots so we gave him a nice short trim to help stay on top of them.

Miss Binky 💝

This little lady was good as gold today!

Binky hates her feet being touched so we scissor trimmed her legs and left her toenail clip until the very end.

She looks super stunning and was very cuddly after her groom.

My First Groom 🐾

We recently had the gorgeous Jasper on board for his first groom.

A typical Springer Spaniel, Jasper was full of beans and so interested in everything going on around him.

He has the puppy package which includes a wash, blow dry, nail clip and trim. Most importantly it introduces your puppy to the sights and sounds of the grooming environment.

Well done Jasper on being a big brave boy during your first groom and we look forward to seeing you onboard again soon 🐾

Juno 🌟

We are crowning Miss Juno our Star of the Week!

Juno is severely anxious about being groomed and finds the whole experience quite stressful.

So we took our time - got her grinch toes and feet out of the way first and had a chat and cuddle afterwards for a little break.

She was super in the bath except for her face where we switched to a mini facial. We then had another break before brushing her coat through.

We then used a happy hoodie to block the dryer noise and she was much more tolerant of this. We then switched to our quieter hand dryer for her ears, head and neck.

Juno stood brilliantly for her trim and we were able to redefine her feathers, chest and belly perfectly.

And we still had a wagging tail afterwards!

Well done Juno on being such a super brave little lady 🌟

A Family Affair 🐾❤️

We had three stunning ladies on board yesterday from the same family.

Old lady Purdy - a black lab and her stunning girls Piper & Smidge - fox reds.

Purdy had The Works - a double dry deshed and mud deshed (I’ll be scrubbing the van all morning!) while Piper & Smidge had a mini groom incl a double dry deshed.

What beautiful and well behaved ladies to spend our morning with 🥰

We look forward to seeing these ladies on board again soon.

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes at Doggy Style Cheshire HQ working on our new website and booking system!

This will allow you to log in, create a profile for your pet and book your appointments online if you so wish. It also sends you email and text reminders so you’ll never forget an appointment again.

It’s almost ready to share with you all and we are just doing some final tests and tweaks this week so watch this space!

Don’t worry though.. for those of you who prefer to book in person via the diary, you can do that also!

We recently had two white beauties on board for The Works.

Archie is a Cyprus Terrier and a lovely old boy - another gent joining the gang!

Then we had beautiful Retriever Luna on board - what a sweet little lady 🥰

Both had our whitening shampoo treatment to lift the gleam on those white coats… don’t the look dazzling 🤍🐾🤍

STOP AND READ!

I keep seeing ads on Facebook and Insta advertising this dental descaling tool.

Please I beg of you - DO NOT buy or use a dental descaling tool on your pet or a groomer that uses one for that matter.

The only person who should use this tool is a qualified veterinary professional.

The only safe alternative I would happily recommend would be the Emmi-Pet Ultrasonic toothbrush as it’s non invasive and safe to use on your pet to maintain their teeth and help to prevent periodontal disease.

If ever in doubt, please seek advise from your veterinary professional.

Little Pickle 💖

Would you believe this little cutie is 10!

Pickle was onboard today for The Works which included a full scissor trim to tidy up all those spaniel wispies.

Wig left intact as requested by Mum 🥰

Oh Murphy 🤎

We had the very handsome Murphy - an 8 year old Chocolate Lab - onboard today.

He had a all our deshed treatments today - starting with a furminate on his dry coat, then a mud deshed and kong comb deshed in the bath, a double blast with our blaster drier to lift out the loose coat and a final furminate on the table once his coat was dried.

The van definitely had more fur than him when he left…

Hopefully he’s feeling much lighter without all that old coat… and what a gent! I’m getting all the gentlemen on board this week 🤎🤎🤎

Duke 🌟

Everybody needs a ‘Rottlington’ in their lives! Duke is a Rottweiler X Bedlington Terrier and is the definition of a doggy gent.

What an absolute pleasure it was to groom this boy today and he looked very dapper indeed after his pamper.

Thank you to his mum too for the lovely chats and cleaning the van while I worked 🥰 you’re hired!!

Darling Miss Dolly 🌟

Dolly is a delightful little lady but extremely anxious of being groomed.

Mum joined us onboard for a few minutes to make sure she was settled and we had lots of cuddles and chats to relax her throughout.

I must add that she was an absolute perfect little lady for the entire time she was onboard and looks super dashing with her fresh fur!

We also received some beautiful feedback from Dolly’s mum which we’ve shared in the images. (I’m not crying, you’re crying!)

New Puppies On Board 🌟

We’ve had two gorgeous new boys join the Doggy Style Cheshire pack this week.

Archie is an 11 month old Cavapoo and is the floofiest little boy you could meet.

Monty is a 5 month old Poochon and just the biggest ball of energy. He loves giving cuddles - which is good because we love puppy cuddles!

Well today has been a busy one…

We had five gorgeous pooches on board today.

First off we had Annie for a mini groom - a nice head and face tidy in between grooms.

Next was Miss Ruby the stunning Irish Red Setter for The Works before she goes on her hols ☀️

Last stop for the day was to see new boy Monty for his first groom, Miss Missie and my little Buster Boy.

Did you know that approximately 80% of dogs show some form of dental health issues by the time they get to the age of 3?

Catching a whiff of your dogs bad breath is often an indication of dental disease and much can be done to prevent and treat oral health problems when identified early.
