For those self isolating the government advice for companion pets is "At present, there is no evidence that companion animals or pets such as dogs and cats, can be infected with coronavirus (COVID-19)". What are people thinking of doing about arranging dog walking whilst isolating? The guidance says "You cannot go for a walk".

I found lots of used fireworks on my walk this morning and decided to chew and run around Woodley Park with them. Please be careful as they contain substances that are poisonous to dogs. I didn't realise this and thought my helper was playing a game when they tried to grab me to take them away. He didn't seem at all happy with whoever had left them there and made several trips to the bins. Thank you to the kind lady we met who was litter picking.

Rover is a good name for a dog friendly pub

A pub with a "dog menu" is in the final of being crowned the most dog friendly pub in the country.

This was found and chewed at the big park in Woodley this week. Freya woofed "I particularly like it as it's sweet. There's often the odd chewed piece there but I struck lucky with this. My owner seemed excited too and tried to chaise after me shouting something about it killing me & then pulled it out my mouth". Please be careful as there's often gum in this park and this can contain xylitol which is poisonous to dogs.
