Enjoying a couple of quieter days this week after a rather hectic July. School holidays always mean I'm busy cuddling cats, walking dogs and checking horses, hens, chinchillas, degus and rabbits, but my mum being poorly has added to the general stress levels this summer. Very glad to see her on the mend now.
I'm fully booked until October and appear to have got my dates for school holidays wrong 🤦🏼‍♀️ and have planned time off from 19th (last weekend of the October school break) to 25th October. So anyone looking for pet sitting around that time please let me know ASAP. Limited availability through November and I'm undecided on what I'm working over the festive period.
Never too early to give me dates for next year, even just tentative dates, diary is already filing.

Woohoo, last job of the day done and I'm off for 7 whole days now 🥳 it's been a long time since I've had this length of a break, or a day off come to think of it, and it's much needed ahead of the busy school summer holidays.

It's been a very horse filled few weeks along with my regular dogs to walk, cats to cuddle, hens to feed. Never a dull moment!!
I've extremely limited availability for cat/hen/small animal care until June 19th, on holiday June 20th to 26th and then fully booked until late July.

So nice to see the sun today after what feel like a very soggy, muddy few months 🌧️.it's been a slog.
Always glad to have cats to cuddle indoors to warm up and dry off in between walking dogs and mucking out horses.

May is fully booked 4th to 20th and I'm away June 20th to 27th.
Early July is heavily booked, I'm off again August 26th to Sept 2nd then the first 2 weeks of September are already more or less full.

How is it February already?!? Probably because I kept going on holiday in January 🤣🍹🏖️ but back to cold wet reality in between to walk dogs and muck out horses, and I'm in the country for the foreseeable now.
I've got a couple of cat care spaces available over the half terms holidays but end of Feb and mid March onwards are very busy and Easter weekend is fully booked.
Next planned time off is 24th to 29th April and then 19th to 29th June.

Shortest day of the year felt like the longest after a Xmas party last night and a few too many peach schnapps 🎉😴🤦🏼‍♀️

That's me off now for the next 5 days to enjoy Christmas with my mum, back to work 27th and fully booked over new year. I'm off 12th to 15th and again 27th Jan to 4th Feb then it's into school half terms and life gets busy once more.

Thanks to all my clients for your support in 2023, I really do love my job and all the animals I care for and very much appreciate all the kind festive gifts, cards and thoughtful gestures.

New diary day!!!
I'll be transferring all my current 2024 bookings into this over the next few days and planning exactly when I can have days off so if you're thinking of holidays and maybe needing me for your pets, please don't leave it too late, I'm getting better at saying no!
Had a great time on holiday in Tenerife 🍹☀️ and came home rested and relaxed. It's been a nice, gentle return to work and lovely to be in the forests with the little group of dogs I walk regularly, enjoying the autumn colours in the sunshine (let's not talk about the rain last Wednesday morning 🌧️🌧️🙈)

Phew, September was..... Intense!
The end of August should have been my chance to recover from a busy summer but circumstances combined to leave me physically and mentally drained going into an already busy period. Lots of dogs to cuddle and walk and cats needing attention always helps soothe the soul though. Horses to check, feed and fly spray plus some hens and guinea pigs to care, and I've just finished a weekend working my other job which is on the coffee trailer for Loulabelles cafe at a biking event. Very glad for a rest day tomorrow 😴.

✴️Fully booked through October and away on holiday 25th to 31st October.

✴️Taking 22nd to 26th December off this year, very limited availability over new year.

✴️Starting to plan my time off next year, probably end of January, end of April, mid June, end of August and late October /early November next year. If anyone has plans and needs me please let me know ASAP.

The last 6 weeks has been a blur of dog sitting and walking, peak school holiday season so lots of cats, horses, hens, ducks, guinea pigs, rabbits, degu and chinchillas to care for and added to that my mum moved home 🤯 life has been somewhat busy but I had a whole day off yesterday and slept for 15 hours 😂😴 so I'm back up to speed again now 💪
August has limited availability up to 24th then I'm fully booked right through September, October I'm away on holiday around 25th for a week.
It's never too early to pencil in dates for next year as I'll be starting planning my own time off shortly.

Hope everyone is managing in this heat 🥵 thankfully I was able to keep my dog walks in shady forest by streams but it's made the last few weeks hard work. I'm off now for 5 days on a little break to Norway 🇳🇴 to revive myself before the busy summer season.
The remainder of the summer is very heavily booked and September is more or less full.

My goodness there has been a lot of animals cared for since I last posted! So many cats to feed (in one case give insulin injections) and cuddle, dogs to walk and spend time with and horses needing fed, fenced, fly sprayed and the odd belly scratch. Bunnies, hens and a gecko all needing my attention as well.

June is now fully booked until after 25th and availability is limited July, August and September.
Looking ahead I've decided to take Christmas 🎅 off this year, 23rd to 26th inclusive, and I will only take a very small number of bookings over new year.

Back to normality after Easter holidays which was busy with lots of cats to cuddle, horses to check over and my little regular gang of dogs to walk.
I'm fully booked 6th and 7th May, have holidays planned 10th to 15th May and fully booked again 23rd to 28th May.
Very limited availability through June for cat/small animal drop in visits, I'm on holiday again 17th to 21st June, and July is filling fast.

First day of summer time and a snowy walk with Morag the collie today. 😱🥶
March has been full of dog sitting, with some much loved regular cats to see and two magnificently adorable and squeaky guinea pigs to care for, alongside my regular group of dogs I walk and horses I help look after.

April is now almost full, with the first 10 days over Easter fully booked, and I've some time off planned May 10th to 15th and June 17th to 21st. If you need me for your pets care please don't leave it too late, life is busy and I hate to disappoint!

Had a night staying with my regular pals Lili and Megan this weekend, and their new little sister Bramble, who seemed to get the idea very quickly that I'm a decent replacement when her people are away 🥰
Cat to feed and cuddle, horses to feed and others to muck out, my regular dogs to walk, some guinea pigs to care for and that's the half term holidays over 👌😊

After a rather horse mucking out filled January 🐴💪🥵😴I'm very glad to see the better weather and longer days which eases my workload a bit. After a cold day dog walking and mucking stables, lots of cat cuddles are always good for the soul 😻

February half term week is now fully booked, then I'm off on holiday 25th Feb to 5th March.

Easter holiday time I have plenty availability for cat and small animal sitting.
Fully booked for dog sitting for the rest of the year.

I'm also planning to take some time off
May 10th to 15th
June 16th to 21st
August 30th to Sept 3rd
October 28th to November 5th

Isn't this year flying by already 😂🙄
With most people back to normality now the busy festive pet sitting season eases up a bit but I'm full on with winter horse work for the next few months 🐴
There is extremely limited availability for the February school half term holidays for cat and small animal care and I have a weeks holiday planned 25th February to 5th March.

Hope everyone is having a relaxing day. I've been on the go since early seeing cats, horses, rabbits and even sheep. Time to stop for a few hours and enjoy a lovely lunch that my mum is currently making, then back out to do a few more visits late afternoon.

That's winter definitely arrived 🥶❄️🌨️

The rest of the year, including the festive period 🎄🎅🥂 is now fully booked and January into February has extremely limited availability.

I'm not taking on any further dog or horse bookings beyond my regular clients and am having to increase prices and reduce availability to balance the needs of the business, my own horse 🐴 and my personal wellbeing 😊 the 2023 diary is open and very full already, get your holiday dates to me soon to avoid disappointment.

We had lots of her friends to spend time with too, as well as horses, cats and rabbits to care for. This week is fully booked then I'm off on holiday 5th to 13th November 🥳🍹🏖️

October holidays done ✔️ phew!
So many cats, dogs, horses, guinea pigs, rabbits and hens in the last few weeks, life has been hectic but I do love all my furry friends.

8 days spent with the magnificent Jerry, he's an old boy and gets quite stressed when things change, but he was happy to have me come to stay, give lots of cuddles and take him for car rides and gentle wanders.
I've also made another new cat friend 🐱 spent time with a much loved regular 😻 and his hen friends, had lots of horses to care for and even some sheep needing fed.
September is now full, October holidays are filling rapidly and Christmas has only a couple of spaces left for cat/small animal visits, I'm taking holidays 5th - 13th November and over New Year.

2 nights staying with my beloved Una to round off an incredibly busy 3 months of work. I've so enjoyed meeting new cats and spending time with regulars but I'm not taking any more booking for the next month beyond what is already in my diary. It turned out I had fractured 2 vertebrae when I came off my horse back in April and not resting has slowed the healing process.
October school holiday period and Christmas 🎅🎄 is filling fast, I'm off on holidays 5-13th November and over New Year.

One of the best parts of my job is when a cat is a bit timid when I first meet them and then realises I'm a friend and turns into an absolute cuddle bug. That was the case with the magnificent Ziggy, I'm a little bit in love 😻
I was also getting epic cuddles staying with the pair of magnificently fluffy Newfies that I regularly look after, who shower me in love drool and hair. Their horse and cat friends also love a big auntie Jane cuddle.
Chinchillas, degus, hens and ducks to care for as well, never a dull moment!

Had the joy of some guinea pigs to care for over the last couple of weeks, I lost the second of my original pair of rescue piggies last month so it was really lovely to get cuddles with these cheeky chappies.
Horses to check over, cats to cuddle, dogs to walk... It's been a busy summer 🥴 I'm having to say no to lots of jobs over the coming weeks as I am just shattered and need a few days off here and there, apologies to anyone I'm having to say no to.

10 days staying with Juno and Tarka, going on lots of walkies, having some epic cuddles and caring for their hen friends, it's been lovely to spend time with them but I will glad to be back in my own bed for a couple of nights now.

So many cats, I do love my feline friends 😻😻

I'm back to over night stays dog sitting for the next 3 weeks or so and then I'm having a few days off here and there at the end of August as it's been a hectic couple of months, so availability is extremely limited.

Taking holidays 5th to 13th November and over New Year, limited slots available for small animal care over Christmas.

It's been an incredibly busy start to the school holidays with plenty of cats needing cuddles, rabbits, hens and horses to tend to, my usual gang of dogs to walk and even some chinchillas and degus to care for. I sadly had to say goodbye to one of my own pets this week, Fudge the guinea pig, which has broken my heart, so all the pets I have cared for have had extra cuddles and loving.

A bit of variety with some sheep to care for recently, along with the usual plethora of dogs to walk, lots of magnificently fluffy cats to cuddle, bunnies and horses to feed.
