Do you think she heard me? 👂
We’ve had a pretty fun weekend! 🤩
This video perfectly demonstrates typical breed characteristics.
- Isla the Flat Coated Retriever with her nose to the ground, sniffing treats I’ve scattered in the long grass.
- Neska the Border Collie who is running about but also displaying herding and stalking behaviours by crouching down and tracking Sasha.
- Sasha my Greyhound who is bonkers. Doing what she does best, just running in wide circles. (Crazily this isn’t even her at full speed)
Neska and Sasha know each other well and have learnt how to both enjoy play. Sasha is faster that Neska and could catch her if she wanted to, but Neska is more agile and can cut smaller bends. It makes for a great game without rough and tumble that Sasha finds overwhelming!
It’s important to look for positive play styles between dogs and to be able to stop play if you think it’s too much for any of them.
Scatter feeding is great if you need them to calm down and take a break 💫
(P.s ignore my weird voice, I get very excited about them playing so well)
Yesterday handsome Yuki crossed the Rainbow Bridge🌈
The sweetest boy ever to amble around the Palace❤️
So proud of this boy! There were dogs in the background which is why I kept looking up as a few weeks ago he’d run off making new pals but his focus was completely on me👏🏾 (and the treats)! 🥇
This is our handsome new boy Loki!
We’re doing solo walks with Loki atm to help teach him some manners before he joins our groups. His loose lead walking is coming along very nicely, we’ll be posting our best tips for this tomorrow! 🚶🏾♀️
The stay cue from our Tuesday tips in action! 🤩
Who’d guess this boy was nearly 16 years young? 🐣
I might have been distracted by those handsome dogs but I’m back now🤩
We can’t go over it, we can’t go under it. Oh no... we’ll have to go through it🐻
It’s #internationaldogday
Throwback to when it was so hot frozen cucumber was the only answer! 🥒
Nice training exercise mid walk today! An extra element to fetch. ~remember it’s also very important to mentally challenge your dog. Teach them commands and skills to keep them stimulated and to help you in and out the home~
Might need to rebrand to ‘a walk in the mud’ at this rate🤦🏽♀️
A very happy Scout😊 when the weather was at least dry!
A dogs happiness is infectious! And exactly what we need today. Isla made friends today with a beautiful American bull and Bic just being Bic, loving the water🥰
(Took a while to clean them but it’s worth it😂🤦🏽♀️)
