Paws Dog Walking & Pet Sitting is run by Chloe Irons, who lives in Braintree. Chloe graduated from University in 2012 with an MSc in Animal Behaviour & Welfare. She has also completed a Canine Training Diploma, an Animal Care Diploma and a Pet First Aid Course. Having worked with dogs for over 10years, she has lots of valuable experience in dealing with dogs (and other animals) from all backrounds; including working within a Rescue Centre as a Volunteer for over 2 years.

Aqua Paws Wellness Centre is coming to Sudbury Suffolk September 2024!! We are a small animal hydrotherapy centre equipped with both an underwater treadmill and hydrotherapy pool. Hydrotherapy is an excellent form of exercise, it helps to improve cardiovascular fitness, helps animals recover from orthopaedic and neurological conditions and helps to manage osteoarthritis. I am so excited to open and start treating your lovely pets! 🐾🐱🐶🩵🧡

River 🩷 Lulah 💜 and Dexter 💛 had first walk together today. They were very pleased to see one another! Lulah kept flirting with Dexter but he quickly told her that he already has a girlfriend (or two!). River was more than happy to play with Lulah when asked, until my shoulder sockets couldn’t take anymore jumping around! 😅
All 3 were incredibly interested in a cat and I thought I was about to go flat on my face. Thankfully the power of treats prevailed!! 👏
Up next was a pop in for Dibble ❤️ Bodie 🤎 and Jess 🧡 who all gave me lovely cuddles and we hung out in the garden together. Probably for the best considering how hot it was! 🥵 Dibble wanted to give me kisses everytime I took our picture. 🙈
Oakley 🖤 and I had a trip to the dog field for some real running around….! 🥎 For about 5minutes and then he just wanted to sniff everything 😂 but he was much happier to do it here so it’s worth the trip for him.
Finally off to see Atlas 🩶 who took me on a full tour of the woods and surrounding area, great idea to be in the shade again. Thanks boy! 🐾
After working days and evenings until late (other job) for the last 3 days in a row, I am now going to sit down. If I’m not around tomorrow it’s because I never got up again!!! 😂😂😂😂

All three have met before but not all at once, so this was incredibly exciting for Lulah!!! 😅 but she soon settled and they got on really well.

Received some very sad 😢 news this morning, this gorgeous chap has crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈 Joey was one of a kind, a real character and an absolute pleasure to care for. I feel honoured to have looked after him for so long. He tested me at the start of our relationship and decided I was trustworthy, that meant a lot. 💙 He had an awesome life with his family and his sister, I’m thinking of them lots today. In 11 years of pet sitting there are some animals that always stay with you, there are days where I genuinely miss them. I think of them all. Joey is one of those, he’ll never be forgotten. I remember one time I went to see him and he had stolen the entire pot of catnip from the table!! 🤣 Run free at the rainbow bridge, sweet, sweet Joey. Find those Dreamies. Lots of love and squeezes. 💙💙💙💙💙💙

This has been a LONG time coming!! Nearly 11 years, in fact!! 😬😅 So of course this requires a grand unveiling…. 👇🏻 But…. I HAVE DOG CRATES FITTED TO MY VAN!!! 😍🐾😍😅 Dogs travelling with me will be safer, and hopefully more comfortable once I’ve put the bedding in. Plus I can take more friends out for walkies together! ❤️ The compartments are removable, and I can adjust the sections according to how big a doggo I’m transporting!
