International Dog Rescue IDR was set up to rescue dogs from the terrible conditions of public shelters overseas. We need all the help we can get! 🐶
(12)

We are no longer operating as a rescue and hope you will support our partners Oakwood Dog Rescue who are still trying to find some of our dogs their forever homes. Gill visited a dog shelter in Romania in 2011 and witnessed the horrific conditions these dogs lived in compared to our UK rescue dogs. She quickly realised that many of these dogs had zero chance of ever getting out of the public shelt

er and almost all of them would die in there. Gill then spent the next 5 years setting up and establishing a dog rescue in the UK with a view to providing a stable base to bring dogs back to. Fast Forward to 2017 Gill and a group of dedicated dog lovers have set up International Dog Rescue - a non-profit organisation. IDR focus on raising funds to build a safe shelter in Romania and to bring dogs over to the UK where they can get a chance at finding the forever home, something they would never get in Romania.

Sadly, we HAVEN’T HAD A SINGLE DONATION yet! Even though we are no longer able to raise money as an organisation, our friends at https://www.facebook.com/helpingdogsandcatsuk/ have agreed to take in 5 kittens and their Mum from our regular foster lady in Romania. However, they can’t travel to the UK until all travel and prep costs have been covered. We are helping raise those funds and a large sum is needed - £1910 in total. We would really like to help those 6 cats start a better life in the UK, but WE CAN’T DO IT WITHOUT YOUR HELP. No amount is too small. If you would like to help, you can donate to: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/hdcuk REF: 6 cats Please, help us help them! Thank you!

Even though we are no longer able to raise money as an organisation, we would still like to help Oakwood Dog Rescue in any way we can.

We used to raise £50 per dog. Now, sadly, we are not in the position to be able to do this.

It would mean so much if you could make a donation to Oakwood who are taking care of our dogs while they try to find them homes. The money would go straight to Oakwood using this link

Thank you 🙏🏼
