A lot of people ask why the business is called M.A.D Dogs, well my full name is Michelle Anne Dickinson hence M.A.D Dogs. I’m a Military wife and mum of two and I have taken my love of animals and turned it into a profession. When we were based in Cyprus for three and a half years, I started out as a foster Mummy for a few different pounds out there. During my time, I have had many furbabies in my

care and given the dogs a second chance at life with a new family, one is now a HM Customs dog. Since my return to the UKI have had the pleasure to met up with some once again and I can see my time was well spent. Because of my love and passion for dogs, I went on to get my diploma in advanced dog grooming and a veterinary support assistant. I am now based at Witham st Hughs with my two girls, husband and our boarder collie Willow. I am fully insured and registered 5 stars with North kesteven Council

🐾 Important Update from M.A.D Dogs Boarding and Daycare! 🐾

Hey, M.A.D Dogs family!

Starting August 1st, 2024, our grooming prices will be invoiced after the groom, and you’ll receive a "from" price. Why, you ask?

Here’s the scoop:

Not brushing your dog or skipping regular grooming can lead to some serious issues like matted fur, which can cause pain, hot spots, infections, and more. Plus, matting often means your pup might need a shave—not fun for anyone!

Also, the cost of grooming supplies has skyrocketed. When your pooch’s coat is matted, it takes extra time, effort, and products to get them looking fabulous, which can wear out our equipment too.

So, remember: brush your pooches and keep those regular appointments to help keep costs down!

To my human moms & dads, this is what happens to my paws when you take me out in the scorching sun ☀️ when the pavement is so hot !

Remember I sweat through my paws, so in this heat I can’t get rid of my sweat as my paws are burning. Missing my walk won’t harm me. Please let me just relax indoors and take me out when the sun is down🐾

If you see someone walking their dog on hot pavement, ask them to take off their shoes for the remainder of their walk home. Maybe then they'll understand.
