We’re back! 🐶🎉🐾 We’re all settled in after the move across and Danni’s enjoying her new job 🐕

With that being said we are transforming The Wet Nose Company, as we said in December we’re not ending, just changing 😁

So we have two new services! Designed for owners seeking help with their dogs or those who simply enjoy dog training and the community 🐾

We will now be offering online behavioural consults / training support, this will largely consist of messaging back and forth via email and over Facebook, with a training plan and guidance. You can pay for a week or two weeks, with the option of extending at the end. It’s not too dissimilar to our 1-1 sessions that we used to offer, so if you’re struggling with your dog showing any behavioural problems, please get in touch!

Our second new idea comes in the form of a private facebook group! It’s a safe place for those who wish to share their stories, training ideas and more. For a small monthly fee it’s well worth adding to your dog training arsenal, here are some of the features;

**Announcements**

This is a really hard post to write because The Wet Nose Company has been our life for the last 3 years!
Danni has been given a job offer across working with assistance dogs which she can’t turn down, so in the new year we will be moving across to the UK 🐾
Thank you to everyone for all the support over the years and our amazing clients, regulars and friends who have kept us going and trusted us with your dogs ☺️

For everyone; We aren’t fully disappearing as we will shortly be launching The Wet Nose Company Premium which will be an online resource hub for anyone who’s struggling with behaviour, training, hoopers, or just want to keep up to date with us - this will largely be through a Facebook group so keep an eye out 😄 We will also be taking 1-1 training sessions over email, phone and zoom

For our Hoopers clients; We are having the fun Hoopers comp on the Saturday 17th around 3pm-6pm at The Glebe, we’ll be giving awards out and this will be our little celebration of our Hoopers dogs and a bit of a goodbye party! So please come along if you can. And don’t worry we are looking at someone taking on teaching the classes, and we’re anticipating returning throughout the next few years for more Hoopers comps to check on you all! 😂

For our grooming clients; all of the bookings for 2022 still stand don’t worry, for those with specialised needs we will help you find a good groomer 😄🐩

We’re going to miss all of you and your dogs! Anyone who wants to say goodbye are more than welcome at the Hoopers fun comp. This isn’t the end of The Wet Nose Company, it’s just changing 🐶

Puppy workshop! 🐶

We weren’t able to squeeze a full course in before Christmas, but due to high demand we are hosting our first workshop next week, a puppy workshop! 🐾🐾🐾

We have a couple of spaces left, here are some details below:

✨ 2 hour session, with lots of breaks
✨ We will cover all the basics that we usually would in our 5 week course.
✨ Only £35
✨ Saturday 3rd afternoon in St. Marks
✨ Lots of socialisation and puppy training

Onnee is such a gorgeous girl 🤩

Whilst gaining a great foundation through puppyhood she just needed help with a couple of specific things around the home and with different members of the family including a young handler who did amazingly, listened very well to our ideas and taught Onnee some tricks like dancing, lie down, spin and much more, in our 1-1 session ✨

Fun and formal training are great ways to build bonds with your dog, so having everyone in the family do so is well worth it! 🐶

This is your sign to go to the beach and have a photoshoot with your dog 😂

Tom who we walk regularly, loved his time playing and exploring the beach recently on one of our outings, even offering up some play behaviours with our Reggie. He also acted really well under distractions seeing plenty of people etc 🐾

We’re at the Southern Show today with the hoopers equipment - come down and give it a go!! We’ll be in a ring next to the secretary’s tent around lunchtime 😁🐾

Southern show!! 🐄🐕 We will be at the show at the weekend with a little pop up ‘have a go’ hoopers session open to all! So all of our hoopers clients can come and run their dogs on a full course and anyone who wants to try it out are very welcome 🐾 We’re only there on the Sunday, around lunchtime down near the secretary’s tent - there’s loads of fun stuff in the ring too including doggy olympics! That’s us wrapped for the week, we’re being strict on ourselves and having a few days off for the bank holiday weekend! ☀️🐾 Hope everyone has a great weekend and TT week, feel free to message us as normal, we might just be slower to reply 😁🐶🎉

We thought we’d share an insight into one of our training sessions with the gorgeous Luna, this is a training walk we will be doing weekly with her to socialise her more with the world 🐕 Luna is such a lovely girl who likes to chase most moving vehicles, mostly vans and sometimes even bikes. She has a heart of gold, just needs some help realising that life isn’t that scary 🐾❤️ Here is before, during and after our first session with Luna, great progress all achieved under an hour, with reward based methods and positive reinforcement. Timing is key when it comes to walking reactive dogs 🐶 This doesn’t mean Luna will be perfect with cars after this session, this is just a stepping stone to what can be achieved over time.

Accidentally recorded this in slow mo, but turned out pretty cool! 🐶 Danni practicing a retrieve with Princess, it’s important to practice in different environments and don’t forget to make it easier for your dog in new, more distracting areas and build from there 🐾

What a character in such a tiny fluffy dog 🐶 We weren’t able to travel much yesterday thanks to the storm! But today we were back on the road 🚐 Remember we’re selling our Dog Ownership Course spaces are filling up and it’s very soon!!
