I am three years and one month old and mum forgot to celebrate my birthday - how rubbish is that?

Anyway, I am a busy collie, we go for lots of walks, socialise quite a bit with other dogs, attend training workshops, and do a bit of Canicross, Hoopers, Tracking, Scentwork and UKDS. Ah, and I also got my Bronze KCGC award earlier this year - so I have brains as well as beauty!

It took me nine months of hard work, but finally Molly gave in and decided it was ok for us to play together, so we do a bit of wrestling and bitey faces. When I am not busy, I sleep, lots. Mum says I am a lovable Do**us and I make her smile everyday. Life is good :)

Doesn't time fly? I've been here for eight months now. Mum says we're taking things very slowly, as I am still just an overgrown puppy and lack confidence but I'm doing really well. I have lots of friends, we go on lovely long walks, play a lot, I am learning to be a Canicross dog and we also do a bit of tracking and Scentwork. When we're not doing stuff I just settle and sleep. Life is good :)

Where has July gone?? I have been having lots of fun, as always. My new name is Clumsy Bruce - I keep running into things, people or Molly because life is so exciting I keep forgetting to look where I am going! My other name is Clever Bruce, as I've started learning new things, I love learning and I love the cuddles and treats I get too. Life is good :)

Doesn't time fly when you're having fun? I've been here for three weeks now and I am having such fun!

I found the car very scary to start with, so for the first two weeks I had to jump in and out of it sooo many times each day to retrieve a bit of chicken and play games with FM, so it wasn't scary anymore. We go out in the car now every day for short journeys and for some very long ones and I love it, as we explore lots of interesting walks.

In my travels I have come across cyclists, motorbikes, three trains, a few cars and vans, an airplane, walkers with and without dogs, and a horse in the distance. I was interested but not overly worried. Now, runners are something else - they come out of nowhere, move fast and make funny puffy noises...I don't like them, so I get liver cake as a reward for just looking at them and not growling. FM said I must get used to them as when it's cooler we'll start doing Canicross.

I have also seen hares (that was mega exciting, Booo, I was on a long line so couldn't chase them), a couple of dogs, a cat in the garden (chased it) a rabbit (chased it) and some coots in the stream (I chased them too).

FM says I have a new name "Good Boy Bruce" as I am a little star!

Well, I have been in my Foster Home now for almost two weeks. Wow, so much to learn!

The journey home was very stressful, I was scared, I thought I was being kidnapped, so I barked, chewed my bed and was biting the bars on the cage for a while. Then we stopped for wee wees and a walk and then back in the car -I was so tired I just slept the rest of the way.

When we got home, I inspected the small garden and did lots of wees. I did a couple in the house too (ooops!). Then I had some food (yum) and went to my crate. I slept all night and was very good.

For the first few days I just stayed at home with FM, FD and Molly. We just hung out, played with toys and did a lot of "car training".

At the end of the first week we started travelling in the car and going to some very exciting places. I like the car, I like looking out of the window, though I am not very keen to get in.

I am still scared of new things, but I am getting braver each day!

FM and FD are very proud of me and how I have coped with my new environment. They say I am like an overgrown puppy - I am a thief and master chewer, very affectionate, I just LOVE food and treats and I like going in my crate for chilling out. Life is good :)

Good afternoon! My name is PPBC Bruce D and I am two years old. I have lived all my life on a farm, as I was bred to be a sheepdog...but I decided that wasn't the right career for me.

Some people may say I am a failed sheepdog, I prefer to think I am just looking for an alternative career - preferably one that involves lots of cuddles, toys and treats.

I have been in my foster home now for a week, and I am still finding my feet. It is very different to where I came from, so I have a lot to learn.
