Rescuing an animal is just the start, often they take many months to find the right new home ๐ง Thankfully we are lucky to have a team of amazing foster parents who open their hearts and homes to animals who are patiently waiting to be adopted.
First-time foster carers Ellie and Jamie were soon bewitched by Betty's quirky charms, but they were determined not to be 'foster-fails' on their first cat! Instead they enjoyed every moment of their time with her and after 96 days in our care, Betty herself fell for the charms of her new mums, when they visited her and serenaded her with songs! It was a match made in heaven ๐
Earlier this month Ellie and Jamie got married ๐ฅณ They incorporated their love of Betty White into their special day, and I'm sure you'll agree it is befitting of such a wonderful love story! Congratulations Ellie and Jamie and thank you so much for giving Betty everything she needed, and more, whilst she waited to find her forever mums ๐
After nearly 5 months of vet treatment and nursing in his amazing foster home, Gonzo is now ready for adoption! His survival is a testament to team work ๐ช Can we complete his journey and find him a forever home?

This poor lad was subjected to deliberate injury, most likely burns. Whatever has happened to him caused deep and extensive wounds and infections. We are not out of the woods yet. Every day is still a rollercoaster but he's enjoying life in foster care - we'll keep you updated on his journey โค
Banish the bowl! ๐ฎ Rather than using a traditional food bowl we provide scatter feeding and puzzling opportunities for our rabbits ๐ This mimics more natural ways of grazing and also keeps bunnies occupied and mentally stimulated - why not give it a try?
Max is using a puzzler designed for dogs in the video but you can use most kinds of puzzler or stuff veggies and hay into cardboard tubes ๐ฐ

Welcome our newest resident
This week's newest resident is truly skipping with joy, for the first time since last year.... ๐ฅบ
He was left for two months without treatment for extensive burns on his body. When he was rescued by a National RSPCA inspector, our 11 month old boy was in such a bad way that they feared he would have to be put to sleep ๐ฟ
But after 18 days of intensive vet treatment he's been moved into our care and is recuperating in a foster home. This video is him after only a few hours of meeting his new foster mum ๐ป
We'll keep you updated on his progress and his name (once we've decided!) ๐บ
