For adoption 🌟 NOELLA 🌟 HOUSE BUN 🏡 Noella was born in RSPCA care on 2nd September 2024. Her mum was removed from the owner a few days previously having been found living in appalling conditions. There were no other rabbits in the property, so it was a complete surprise when Noella and his siblings arrived! The whole litter is wonderfully entertaining and incredibly sociable. Whenever they have visitors to their pen they dive all over them, 'mug' them for food, clamber up on shoulders or sit on your lap.

Noella stands out to us because she performs the most amazing binkies when it is dinner time. She is a very sweet bunny who prefers to stay out of trouble and out of any conflicts with her siblings. She loves to perch on a cardboard box to have a peek outside of the pen.

Noella has been vaccinated and microchipped and is looking for a home as a house rabbit, living in the heart of the home. She is suitable to be paired with a neutered male rabbit now, as her hormones will not become problematic for bonding for quite some time. She could also live with her sister Adelaide. We offer FREE bonding support so you can do intros in your own home.

Once she is old enough to be neutered the branch will contribute up to £100 for the operation. Noella will make a great addition to any home with children of all ages (with supervision of course). If you would like to offer her a home then please complete the form at this link: https://rspca-manchesterandsalford.org.uk/adoption/the-adoption-process/adopting-a-rabbit [rspca-manchesterandsalford.org.uk]

Update on adopted cats Frankie & Sasquatch 🥳

This pair now live with pooch Garlic. Following gradual introductions and guidance from our team this trio love to snuggle and there's little room left for humans on the sofa!

Not all cats are suited to live with dogs and vice versa but with careful, gentle introductions this was a match made in heaven 🥰

Their adopter says:

'Thank-you for the support & guidance during the adoption process and beyond! Our newest family members have made everything feel complete and we’d definitely recommend the RSPCA for anyone looking for a new furry family member.'

If you are looking for a dog-friendly cat contact our team and they will let you know if we have any potential matches! [email protected]

For adoption 👾 JONES 👾 Jones is a stunning male Syrian hamster, who was one of many animals removed from a hoarding situation. It was heart-breaking to see the tiny, filthy cage in which he had spent most of his life, and we were very pleased to be able to move him in to a more suitable enclosure as soon as he arrived with us.

Jones is now making up for lost time, and is making the most of all the tunnelling and nesting opportunities available to him. He also loves his grub! We don't know how old he is but we suspect around 1 year old at the most. He is a typical hammy boy, enjoying daytime naps and coming to life in the evenings!

Jones will require a large enclosure, no smaller than 100cm x 50cm, with at least 6 inches of substrate (and ideally more!) in which to burrow. He will also need an exercise wheel (but no balls, please!) and plenty of tunnels, hides, and things to chew. We can offer full guidance on housing and enrichment!

To adopt Jones please check out our website, link in bio 🔗

For adoption 🌟 BITS 🌟 Bits has been a well-loved companion who has found herself in our care at 11 years old due to owner's deteriorating health. Bits has been in foster care for the last few weeks and her foster carer shares all about life with the lovely lady:

Bits is a really soft and quiet cat, she loves to be stroked and will head butt you for them. She likes to sit on your lap but also likes to sit or lie next to you. She always makes 'biscuits', especially at night time. She follows me around everywhere and is capable of pushing doors open if you are behind one!

However, she’s also quite happy to take herself off and chill on her own. Her top favourite activities are sleeping and eating and doing a spot of window watching. She has the occasional zoomie, and enjoys burst of play with a wand toy. Bits is a good jumper and does seem to like exploring things around the home. She can be a little jumpy still and will run and hide when spooked, but comes out of hiding easily once she knows it’s you.

Bits will be best suited to a quiet, child-free home where someone is home a lot and looking for a companion. She'd love a garden to potter around in too.

Bits is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. She has also had a comprehensive health screen at the vets and all is functioning well, we've also given her teeth a scale and polish so she is now in tip top shape and waiting to find her purrfect match. If you would like to offer Bits a home then please fill in the adoption form at this link:

For adoption 🐯 BABS 🐯 Bengal Babs is ready to leave us at last! The stunning Babs is 7 years old and spent her life before coming into RSPCA care being used to breed multiple litters of kittens. Mostly kept outside with only a rabbit hutch to shelter in Babs must have had a terribly hard life before we became aware of her plight. Babs is a total trooper despite everything she has been through. She raised her last litter in our care (they all have homes now) and has been recuperating in foster care. Here's what her carers have to say about Babs:

'Babs is a chatty soul who likes to be near us most of the time. She has funny moments when she chases her tail and runs around the room. She likes to pounce on her favourite toy (a soft avocado man) and then run away from it. She has a great bum wiggle when she's stalking 'Avocado Man'! Babs will happily snooze away whilst we're at work, especially on comfy pillows or blankets. Babs loves her grub as much as a chat with us and a stroke.

Babs is full of character and friendly. She's a relaxed cat around people she knows and still has plenty of kitten playfulness left in her. Babs makes us laugh every day and she'll make a wonderful addition to any home'.

Babs has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. She has also had a dental to make sure her remaining teeth are in tip top shape. She is looking for a quiet home where she is the only cat and can receive all of the pampering she deserves. Any children should be secondary age. Babs is looking forward to exploring a safe outdoor space in her new home (not on a lead or harness please).

If you can offer our very special Babs the home she needs pleasecomplete the application form at this link:

For adoption 👀 ANDREW + SIOUXSIE 👀 Andrew (silver tabby) and Siouxsie (black) are a purry pair of 4-5 month old kittens, brought into our care as part of a large group of animals removed from unsuitable conditions. We took in six kittens from the same home, who may or may not be related. They certainly behave as such though, so we just go with it! Andrew and Siouxsie especially are inseparable and spend a lot of time snuggled up in a pile, so we are looking to find them a home together.

Both kittens are friendly and inquisitive, and enjoy attention from people. Andrew was initially the slightly braver of the pair, but Siouxsie is growing in confidence all the time, and now gives him a run for his money! This adorable duo are typical kittens: they love their grub, playing with dangly toys, and snuggling up together in a big fleecy blanket. If humans are there to dole out fusses as well then so much the better - they will melt into a purry puddle as their heads are gently stroked! As kittens go they are fairy laid-back - we think they would prefer a home a home free of other cats or dogs, and where any children are cat-savvy and primary school aged and above.

The pair have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They will need safe access to explore outdoors once they are settled in, away from busy roads, and they cannot go to a home where they would be left alone for longer than five hours while they are young. They would prefer a dog free home.

If you have space in your home (and on your sofa!) and would like to adopt Andrew and Siouxsie please fill out the form at:

For adoption 😇 VENUS + SERENA 😇 Ready-made best friends looking for an understanding home to support Venus's disability

Venus and Serena are an adorable duo, born in our care on 13th July 2024. Little Venus sadly has little sight in her right eye but this doesn't stop her and her floofy sister getting into mischief!

The girls are very fond of their grub and will come running to the door of their pen as soon as they spot you. Food is definitely the best way to make fast friends!

Venus (smooth coat) was born with a defect in her eye, which means she has little, if any, vision on her right eye, and sometimes can be easily startled. But if food is involved she has no problem following her nose! She relies on her sister for reassurance and confidence boosts and lets her lead the way. Serena (fluffy coat) is a stunning bundle of fluff and will do the most amazing binkies when it comes to feeding time. The pair are very curious and will both investigate you when sitting in their pen: hopping on your lap and searching your hands for hidden treats. Serena's gorgeous fluffy coat will need regular grooming and trimming to keep free of mats and hay! They are still young and will rightly have bursts of energy but they have overall a very gentle and placid nature. They are very tidy and use their litter. They are not fussy eaters and love their hay.

Venus and Serena have been vaccinated and microchipped and once old enough we will arrange for them to be neutered at the branch's designated vets, or contribute up to £100 each if adopted out of the area. They are suitable to live indoors with a calm family, or live outdoors in a suitable shed/outbuilding type set up where they can have plenty of human company and space to play in the warmth/dry.

If you would like to offer the girls a home then please complete the form at this link: https://rspca-manchesterandsalford.org.uk/adoption/the-adoption-process/adopting-a-rabbit

For adoption 💜 OLLIE 💜 Easy-going, straightforward kitty!

Ollie is an 8 year old gentleman looking for a new home. He came into RSPCA care when his previous owner had to move home and was unable to take their pets with them.

Ollie had been living with multiple animals and had untreated flea allergy which had left his coat in a terrible state. Fast forward a few weeks and some decent flea treatment and he is arguably one of our most handsome residents.

We're not ashamed to say we all adore this unassuming, gentle chap. He is extremely affectionate, instantly greets visitors to his pen and loves nothing more than a lap to curl up on. He has a passion for food - any type will do - and has mastered all of our slow and puzzle feeders in quick time. His chilled out body might not move that fast but his brain certainly does when it smells food!

Ollie would fit in most quietish homes where he is the only cat. Although he loves people, he is equally happy having a solo snooze, so it would be fine if his adopter was at work (as long as he could have a potter outside). He is still interested in a play so plenty of toys would also be on his wishlist. Ollie would be an excellent choice for someone new to cats as he is so easy going and straightforward.

Ollie will need veterinary prescribed flea treatment going forward to ensure he maintains his, now glorious, coat. Ollie is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and ready to take up a spare sofa spot as soon as we find him one.

If you have a sofa vacancy and are interested in adopting Ollie, please complete the application form at this link:

For adoption HOUSE BUN 🏠 🍬 TREAT 🍬 Treat was born in RSPCA care on 2nd September 2024. His mum was removed from the owner a few days previously having been found living in appalling conditions. There were no other rabbits in the property, so it was a complete surprise when Treat and his siblings arrived!

The whole litter is wonderfully entertaining and incredibly sociable. Whenever they have visitors to their pen they dive all over them, 'mug' them for food, clamber up on shoulders or sit on your lap. Treat stands out to us because of his cutest pink nose and long pretty lashes. Although he was initially the smallest of the litter he has since caught up in size.

He has the biggest personality and is super friendly, loves to climb on your person searching for a treat and he loves to be up high. Treat has been vaccinated and microchipped and is looking for a home as a single house rabbit, living in the heart of the home. Once he is old enough to be castrated the branch will contribute up to £100 for the operation.

Once he is fully recovered from the op he can then be paired with a neutered female. He cannot be paired sooner due to impending arrival of puberty! We have a FREE bonding scheme for this. Treat will make a great addition to any home with rabbit-savvy children due to his nature (with care being the responsibility of an adult and children supervised of course). If you would like to offer him a home then please complete the form at this link: https://rspca-manchesterandsalford.org.uk/adoption/the-adoption-process/adopting-a-rabbit
