It’s that time of year again… GRASS SEEDS 😢
Every year our poor dogs suffer grass seeds in many different places!
Just this week we have removed around 20 seeds from your poor furbabies 😢
If you are out on a walk in the fields or grassy areas just be aware of the potential seeds about.
Most likely areas for seeds to enter the skin:
🐾The foot, in the webbing of the foot, and on top of the toes This usually forms a lump and looks like a small cyst/abscess.
🐾 Up the nose, if you notice your dog excessively sneezing after a walk.
🐾 The ear canal, your dog maybe shaking its head lots and cannot settle after the walk.
🐾 Eyes, is your dog squinting or unable to open its eye after a walk.
It’s good practice to give your pets the once over after there walk.
If you think your pet has a grass seed stuck please call 01493 661833 or 01502 572141.

Congratulations Fraya and Becca!!
We are immensely proud of our nurses Fraya and Becca who found out this week they have passed their veterinary nursing exams!!
This represents years of study, written and practical exams, a training log of practical skills and assignments along the way. They have both worked so hard and truly put their training into practice each and every day. They and are now able to wear the bottle green uniform of a registered veterinary nurse!
Well Done!!
Who says you can't teach a cat to fetch! Rebecca our animal nursing assistant at Lowestoft has with her cat Luna!
