🦷 February is Dental Health Month for our Pets🦷

As part of our commitment to highlight this important health matter & supporting you to maintain your pets very best health, for the entire month of February are providing FREE dental checks with our experienced nurses plus 10% DISCOUNT off all dental treatment 🐾

🦷Our pets mask dental pain very well, so you may be completely unaware of any dental disease they have in their mouths. By the time they are struggling to eat, the disease is extremely advanced. Our aim is to help prevent it reaching this stage.

Please remember to keep your pets indoors during tomorrow’s storm. Keeping them protected from injury and removing the risk of them straying.

Regular dental hygiene is very important in your dog’s health 🐵

What are the benefits of a scale & Polish?

⭐️ Preventing tooth loss. When the structures supporting a dog’s teeth become damaged or infected, the teeth loosen and fall out. Good dog dental care will ensure that those teeth-supporting structures stay healthy and keep the teeth in place.

⭐️ Preventing bad breath (halitosis). If a whiff of your dog's breath makes your nose hairs curl, it's time for some good dental care. When your dog has a healthy mouth and healthy dog teeth, bad breath won't be a problem.

⭐️ Preventing oral pain. Dental disease, especially when it's severe, can be quite painful for dogs. Keeping your dog's teeth and gums healthy will help prevent oral pain.

⭐️ Preventing organ damage. Bacteria in the plaque can enter the bloodstream and spread to the heart, kidneys and liver. This spread of bacteria, called bacteremia, can damage organs and make dogs quite sick. Good oral health will help prevent bacteremia and subsequent organ damage.

Miracle dog Muggle was in for his annual check-up with vet Catherine 🥰 it's so great seeing this boy getting a clean bill of health today!

We first saw Muggle back in 2023 when he was just a young puppy. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with meningitis. He was very poorly, and thankfully, with great care from our vets, nurses, and dedicated owners, he made a full recovery 🥰
