Info for tick removal 🐾

Do the twist and shout - “tick is out”!

So many myths surround tick removal - burning, Vaseline, alcohol, and using tweezers. Just buy a £4 tick remover and do it the safe way! Tweezers crush the body and usually leave the head behind 🤦‍♀️.

Anticlockwise or clockwise, these forked tools can be twisted in either direction and usually come in a pack of 2 - one for the small and one for the big ni**le looking ones!

So good to see Debo again, he came for his bath, dry and deshed, using special deshed shampoo followed by treatment.
He will feel so much fresher and cooler after having all that trapped coat removed.

Chewy you are soo handsome 💙🐾

Today I used TellingtonTTouch for Chewy to help in getting him used to having his nails trimmed at future visits - he doesn’t like that so hopefully the TTouch will relax him over time.
We also listened to soothing pupster music, well I was relaxed lol and it definitely helped Chewy

Mabel and her amazing eye lashes ❤️🐾just beautiful.
Me & Mabel knew each other well from my dog walking days so it was so lovely to see her again & have her visit for her first groom here at Treasured Tails.
Mabel is a lively little soul so some calming help was needed for her to help her relax during her pamper. I used TellingtonTTouch, a body wrap and some calming music to help her before and during her pamper 🐾❤️
She did great, bless her xx

It’s a sad day today, our very good friends have lost their little Ruby Roo, she passed away in her sleep last night. 🐾💔
She has had a wonderful life full of love from us all. Ruby is our own Evie’s mum, she came to visit often. Evie and her were very close. She will be missed so very much by her Mum and Dad and here by us 💔 RIP little Ruby Roo, go play with Oscar ###x

It is so very important to start early, also the groomer/dog relationship will be a more united one if you introduce them as soon as possible.

Please do not leave these poor dogs to get matted and dislike something that is important for them for the rest of their lives. It may seem like its just hair, but that hair needs to be cared for to help skin health.
