‘DO I GET TO CHOOSE?’

I’ve been meaning to write this post for a while. When we are arranging viewings this is one of the first things people ask us. And I’ll be honest, not that many people get to ‘choose’. Or maybe the puppy chooses them. Or maybe you want a boy and there is only one. Or you want a black puppy and there is only one. Or maybe there is only one puppy. Or there was two and someone is visiting before you. There’s lots of scenarios here…

The purpose of the viewing is very much to meet us, meet Mum, see the puppies with their Mum. Ask and answer any questions.

I find it is something people get very hung up on and I don’t think it should be. When looking for a puppy myself, I find a breeder I’d really like a puppy from, I think about what is important to me and I would then be very happy with any puppy from a litter that matches what I am looking for (I can count on one hand how many times I got a choice as such)🐶❤️

If you come to meet a litter/puppy and actually you don’t think it‘s the right puppy for you, just say ‘no thanks’ - this is why we don’t take any money until this point.

This year we had a litter of eight, viewing day was interesting - no one could choose, we had tears, we had a collar mix up, it it was a lot 🫣😂 In the picture is Waffle, the last puppy to find his home from a litter of eight. Do you think his family was disappointed? Of course not!

You might not get a pick but you are still choosing if you want that puppy to be a part of your family. And I believe the right puppy always finds the right home at the right time 🏡💫

Good morning,

Our waiting list finally reopens today and ‘maternity leave’ is officially over 😄

Here is a sneak peak of what’s to come this year, I can’t cope !! 😍

We are also excited to announce that we will be introducing the Puppy Culture Programme to our cavapoo litters. This is a top tier socialisation and training plan and I can’t wait to see the outcome.

We will continue health testing our dogs to the highest standard and ensure we have the very best, true to type bloodlines.

Thank you for your patience and support, especially over the last two years, we’ve taken a step back to focus on our growing family 👶🏻👶🏻, but we’re back, and we are ready to make this our best year yet 🐶💫
