🐾❗️EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT❗️🐾

Hi everyone, apologies for being quiet over the past few months, but there's been a lot going on behind the scenes...

I am pleased to announce that Dexter's Dog Grooming will be moving to a premises of it's own, in Hildenborough, opening JANUARY 2025! 🥳

Here's a sneak peak of the new salon below 😍

The salon address will be: 172 Tonbridge Road, Hildenborough, Kent, TN11 9HP (located behind Snippits the Hairdressers on the main road). On road parking is available here, as well as two public car parks down Riding Lane 🐶

I will be having an open day event on SUNDAY 5TH JANUARY 2025 from 10AM-2PM. Everyone welcome, including dogs, come and take a look inside the salon. I will be doing complementary drinks and light nibbles 🫖🥪 Let your friends know, or anyone else you think may be interested in attending, the more the merrier! 🎉

I will still be at Five Oak Green part-time on very limited availability, for those unable to travel. However, I now won't be taking on any new clients at this premises. Sorry for any inconvenience caused, but thank you for your understanding. I hope to see as many of you as possible at the new premises 🥰

Looking forward to seeing you and your doggies in the New Year for my grand opening! 😃

I had the pleasure of giving Flat Coated Retriever, Ruby, her first groom yesterday! 😍 She's still under a year old, but was very confident with all equipment used and the different stages of the groom - she absolutely LOVED bathtime 🫧 Well done Ruby ❤️✂️🐾

These adorable three little amigos had their first puppy introduction grooms 😍 Sibling Westie puppies, Ollie, Basil and Flo, all came into the salon together for bath and blow drys, and even all let me do an eye trim with scissors, how brave! 🤩 They had plenty of breaks inbetween for play time, and we also worked on desensitisation/sounds of other equipment (such as the trimmers, nail clippers, blaster dryer), as well as plenty of touching of their paws, ears, under the chin, to get them used to being handled in a grooming environment 🥰 They'll be confidently trotting into the salon for their grooms in no time 🙏🏻✂️🐾

Cute little Milo is only 4 months old, but popped in for his first bath and blow dry! 😍🫧 I also took the time to start desensitising him to other items of equipment which will likely need to be used when he gets older (such as the sound of clippers/mini trimmers/scissors opening and shutting) - he was ever so good, and didn't react to anything! 🌟✂️🐾

Thank you SO much to Chante Tiara Design for creating my brand new logo for Dexter's Dog Grooming! 🤩 I absolutely love it - Chanté has captured Dexter perfectly using my favourite photo of him 😍 And also incorporated forget-me-not flowers, in memory of Dexter, but also using the colours from a charity extremely close to my heart, Mesothelioma UK, in memory of my lovely Grandad 🕊🌸 She has been ever so professional and patient, even with me being such a fussy customer! But as this has great sentimental value, it had to be exactly right. Thank you again Chanté for getting this just as I had envisioned it ❤️

Rosa the Labradoodle had her full groom in the salon recently 🤩 Another doodle without any real curls in her coat, instead a bit wavy, similar to her sister Lucy (who I posted about earlier this month) - just look at her beautiful merle markings! 😍✂️🐾
