So this weekend on Saturday Wool n Woofers are splitting in two !!! Leyla is going to be on The Bail Lincolnshire Makers Christmas market and Matt is going to be at the showground. Pop along and see us. Lots of gifts for your doggy’s or for you. Can’t wait to see you all. 🐾🐾

Feels strange getting ready for an event on a Monday, but we can’t wait to see everyone this afternoon. 🐾🐾

We have 80 stalls booked now for Oakham Late Night Shopping.

30 are Food and Drink to enjoy on the night and the rest are stalls selling food, drinks, crafts and gifts to buy as gifts. (or for yourself)

All these stalls holders need your support so please do come and visit them - inside Victoria Hall, Oakham, Rutland, inside Oakham Castle, along the High Street and in the Market Place.

Lots of shops open too which need your support everyday and not just at Christmas.

Be great to see Oakham busy and everyone enjoying the event.

The Funfair will also be here, plus music from Chris Poole - Music, Rutland & Stamford Sound will be looking after the school choirs and Santa is in the The George Inn Oakham.

***IMPORTANT INFORMATION***

As you may have seen in the news, Storm Darragh is expected to cause chaos across the UK over the coming days. Due to the adverse weather conditions forecast, it has been necessary to make changes to our planned events this weekend.

Christmas Fayre
Our Christmas Fayre has been cancelled on Saturday and Sunday. This decision has been made now to give stallholders as much notice as possible.

Bike sale
Our bike sale which was also due to take place will be postponed until January (details to follow in the new year).

Chapel event
The New Chamber Choir will not perform as planned on Saturday.

Meet Father Christmas
This event has been cancelled on Saturday and up to midday on Sunday. Bookings from midday on Sunday will go ahead. If your booking has been affected a member of the team will be contacting you shortly to process a refund. All queries should be emailed to: [email protected]

We will be monitoring the weather over the next 24 hours and will decide at 12 noon tomorrow (Friday) whether the park itself will remain open on Saturday. In line with our high winds policy, we will be forced to close fully should winds be expected to reach 50mph.
