🥶🥶This morning, we received a message from a concerned individual regarding a guinea pig observed in a large outdoor hutch. The hutch lacked hay, and the guinea pig was vocalizing distress.

The individual plans to engage with the owner to facilitate the guinea pig's transfer to our care. Given the current freezing nighttime temperatures, we are concerned about the guinea pig's well-being, particularly as it appears to be housed alone.😪😪

For those who keep guinea pigs outdoors, we strongly advise ensuring they have ample hay for warmth and insulation.
(And please dont judge those who keep piggies and buns outside)
