Wolfdogs & Dogs Fan Club at WAMS Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary All animals in our care will remain here for the rest of their lives.

Rocky and Lightning lived together at the sanctuary, Rocky was the sanctuary sheepdog and Lightning was a wolf with a great personality they were both great favourites with the adults and children and loved to see the visitors they both liked to play with a ball and have treats
The Sanctuary is a registered Charity, No 1076645, and survives on donations and visitor admissions. VISION

e the integrity of the Articles of the Charity in every aspect of the work we do here at the Sanctuary and to provide a quality service to our supporters without contravening the ethos of the Sanctuary. To provide an educational resource and visitor experience and make a significant contribution to the economy of the Upper Swansea and Dulais Valleys. MISSION STATEMENT
We intend to do our utmost to rescue and rehabilitate animals in need as far as we are able to accommodate them and provide them with a high level of care and quality of life. We aim to continuously improve animal welfare by training and developing our staff and volunteers to their full potential. We intend also to constantly review and improve our facilities for visitors who provide the main source of funding. In this way we hope to maintain a balance between the ethos of the Sanctuary and the necessity for its economic viability and to provide our supporters with a comprehensive understanding of the factors governing the Sanctuary’s development.

Today is so here's our gorgeous boys Karl & Fritz 🐶🩶

They were born on the 25th June 2021 and were handed in to a rescue. They moved to the Sanctuary on 6th October 2021. They're lovely boys who adore one of our wolfdogs Nikita 🐺

A Schnauzer is a dog breed that originated in Germany from the 14th to 16th centuries. The name comes from the German word for "snout" and means colloquially "moustache", or "whiskered snout", because of the dog's distinctively bearded snout.

Today is 🐺 so here's our gorgeous wolfdogs Petra, Rubea, Zebb & Phelan and Nikita 🥰

Wolfdogs are a challenging breed and are beautiful, loyal and unique animals, but they are difficult to care for in the wrong environment. Consequently, many are ill treated and end up in rescue centres. Our gorgeous wolfdogs are victims of the pet trade.
