Snoopys now safe…
This week we were contacted by Lost Dog Capture team CIC to see if we could take a dog that had been running scared for two weeks around Eccleshall that they had finally managed to trap after a huge effort from everyone involved, we couldn’t let Snoopy down as she had no owner looking for her or wanting her back.
Yesterday she visited our vets and is underweight and has some broken teeth that will need surgery to relieve her of that pain and discomfort.
We are asking our generous supporters to donate anything you can towards her vet bills, she is such a sweet, loving dog despite what she’s been through.
From her chip we have found out she is 9 and as soon as we called the name registered she responded and had such a waggy tail but sadly she has no owner coming to claim her so we will get her well and find her her forever home.
We will always try and help the dogs that need us most, which also sadly often means veterinary bills so anything you can donate towards Snoopy would be so appreciated
🌈🪽SHADOW🪽🌈
We have some sad news to share with you.
Unfortunately on Tuesday Shadow went off his back legs and went into a sudden decline and was taken to the vets. The vets told us there was nothing they could do and we should prepare to say goodbye.
Shadow has been in kennels since he was 18months old and was now 13. He was such a character and when he first entered another kennels where our staff members Steph and Donna worked. He used to chase you out of his kennel. But, Steph and Donna built up such a bond with him that he fell in love with them. He then was moved to us at Animal Lifeline where he became a staff favourite and we all loved him dearly. He became our family.💔
In his final moments and he was surrounded by the people he loved and who loved him.
Shadow slipped away peacefully and is now watching us from above. 💔
As you can imagine staff are absolutely heartbroken after only losing Bouncer two weeks ago, we are feeling an even heavy loss now loosing Shadow.
We will miss him every day but know he’s in a better place now and now longer in any pain. He can run free over that rainbow bridge. 🌈🐾
We love you Shadow, until we meet again 🐾💙

The dogs will get to go into the secret garden and hunt for their Easter Eggs.
We are going to make this into a game, to raise money. All you need to do is choose a dog from the list below and say how long it will take the dogs to find their egg.
It’s £2 per dog per time.
(See bank account at the bottom of the post)
The dog who finds the egg in the fastest time will win!
The person who chooses that dog and gets to the closest time will win a Hamper!

💖 HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY SCARLETT 💖
Scarlett’s had the best birthday surrounded by her favourite people. She even had some visitors come and say hello to her who knew her from her past 🥳🥳
Scarlett is now 9, she came into kennels as a pup but then got rehomed to a lovely gentleman. She then came back into kennels years later when he unfortunately passed away.
Scarlett would suit a home with not other pets, though walks nicely alongside other dogs at a nice distance.
She would suit a home with teenagers + because of her size because though she walks by your side on walks. She can have mad zoomies when she’s excited.
In kennels she doesn’t show herself off well as she can be nervous of some strangers but you’d soon win her heart.
She is one of our favourites and we have no idea why she is still here.
If there’s anyone that would give Scarlett her birthday wish of a forever home then please fill the application form below:

🌈🐾 Ben 10 🐾🌈
It’s with a heavy heart that we have some news to share with you. We sadly said goodbye to our little friend Ben 10 on Tuesday.
Unfortunately, on Tuesday we came in to Ben 10 not being himself so we rushed him to the vets and they did some tests and sadly it was his time to go. He left us peacefully surrounded by people who loved him.
It’s always sad when we loose our Animal Lifeline dogs because they are like our own and we love them. But, we knew it was his time. We hope he is running free up there with Jet. 💔🌈
Here are some memories we have of him. 🥺
Love, AL Team 🐾💙
🌈🐾 Sapphire 🐾🌈
It’s with a heavy heart and tears in our eyes that we have some news to share with you. We sadly said goodbye to our beautiful girl Sapphire on Monday.
Sapphire/Saph/Saphy was a fighter! She had so many medical conditions that she battled through and it didn’t phase her one bit. She fought right till the end running to and from the field.
Unfortunately, on Monday that was the day Saph lost that battle and she left peacefully surrounded by her favourite people.
Saph, had been in the kennels a very very very long time and we are sad that she never found a home outside of the kennels. But, she did find her forever family with us.
Here are some memories we have of her. 🥺
Love, AL Team 🐾💙

DOG OF THE WEEK
💙 G R O M I T 💙
Gromit is a 12 year old Staffy X Sharpei.
Gromit is an adorable friendly boy who loves a fuss and his walks.
Gromit would need to be the only pet in the home. Gromit would probably suit a home with teenagers +.
He loves to snuggle up in his bed and have a play with the staff in the kitchen.
Are you the right one out there for Gromit? Or do you know somebody that is?

😢🌈
It is with a very heavy heart that yesterday we had to say goodbye to the beautiful Bailey 😞
Most definitely a strong character at the rescue, Bailey had her share of ‘moments’, but equally, once the friendship was made she was such a loving ball of energy.
Although her life was taken short due to a debilitating health condition meaning she would be in pain for the rest of her life as a cure wasn’t possibile. She impacted so many, especially when she met Scott. He took her on, warts and all and helped bring the very best of her out, truly showing just what a fantastic dog she could be. His dedication and love for this wonderful girl is inspiring and shows what a massive difference pure love can make to a dog’s life.
Your life was sadly short, and we will all miss you sweet girl and wish you peace now you have passed over the rainbow. Rum free Bailey ❤️
DOG OF THE WEEK
💗 T A R A 💗
Tara is an 8 year old American Bulldog X
Tara is an adorable friendly boy who loves a fuss when she knows you.
Tara is could potentially live with another dog with successful meet and greets. Tara would need to live with Teenagers + as she is nervous of strangers and will need time to get used to you. But, when she likes you she’s a loveable girl.
Are you the right one out there for Tara? Or do you know somebody that is?

DOG OF THE WEEK
💗S P O T💗
Spot is an 7 year old Border Collie.
Spot is a lovely girl who likes a fuss when she’s gotten to know you.
Spot is potentially dog friendly would need meet and greets to see if she could live with another dog.
She would need to gain the trust of her new owner as she can be nervous around new people and has neck sensitivity. She requires someone willing to build a bond with her.
Breed experience would be preferred.
No cats or livestock as she came from a farm and wasn't good around them.
She would suit a home with teenagers + and someone with patience to let her settle in and transition from kennel life.
She would need a calm home as she may get overwhelmed in a busy household.
Are you the right one out there for Spot? Or do you know somebody that is?
