An Independent non-destruct rescue dedicated to helping the animals most in need. We also give sanctuary to rescued horses and rescued farmed animals and fowl.
New Hope Animal Rescue is an independent, non-destruct animal rescue and Sanctuary. New Hope is dedicated to helping animals on facing euthanasia or in immediate danger and those with either medical needs or behavioural problems that make them difficult to place. We aim to help as many animals and in particular those that have been turned away elsewhere. We have two sites, one in Dartford Kent whi
ch concentrates on our dog rescue, where we hold about thirty dogs at a time and the other is our Sanctuary site in Herne Bay, Kent. Our Sanctuary site looks after about three hundreds animals at a time ranging from dogs, cats and small domestics to cows, sheep, pigs and horses. We occasionally rehome those that we consider rehomeable, but often act as the middle man between immediate danger and rescue spaces. We work alongside a vast pool of other rescue organisations to make safe as many as we can. New Hope has no paid staff, including its Founders who work full time to cover as much cost as possible. We are always in need of donations to cover a vast array of expenses that are incurred including feed and bedding, enormous vets bills, kennel bills and fuel costs for transporting. If you would like to donate to help towards saving these animals via paypal it`s [email protected] (Please note there are 3 l`s) or direct transfer is available to New Hope`s Bank account,

Sweet little Skylar came into our care last week but until today has been in the vets.
She was found with a large ge***al lump and sarcoptic mange.
Lump now removed and we’ve neutered her whilst she was under anaesthetic. She has had her manage treatment and is now in isolation 😞
We do have a forward plan for her but we will hold her until the mange is no longer a risk of spreading
PLEASE SHARE FOR RESCUE SPACE.
Please note these guys are in Authority kennels and are looking for rescue spaces, no private home offers at this stage.
Staffie cross Rottie (parents known)
Although they can go together they do not need to go to a rescue space together and are kennelled separately. If you’re a rescue and can only offer on one please do, any help for them is appreciated!
These poor guys are nearly a year old and have been in authority kennels since they were eight weeks old, basically their whole lives 😞
Kennel staff have worked hard on socialising them and they are ok with people and other dogs but a little nervous (no reactivity).
They are fully vaccinated. Female in picture one and male in picture two.
Can any rescue please offer one of them a space so they can find the home and future they deserve, and now they can leave the system they really do deserve it!
These pups haven’t had the chance to know life. PLEASE SHARE 🙏🏻
UPDATE PLACED :)
PLEASE SHARE FOR RESCUE SPACE
Please note this chap is in a Local Authority kennels and will only be released to rescue, no private home offers at this stage.
Friendly young adult male, kind nature, unclaimed stray. No issues with other dogs.
CAN ANY RESCUE PLEASE HELP?
Sally…. If she can survive the interrogation from the three geriatric chis then she can survive anything!
Someone’s got the right idea 🐷
UPDATE PLACED 🙂
PLEASE SHARE FOR A RESCUE SPACE.
Please not this girl is in a Local Authority kennels and must go to a RESCUE for rehoming, so private rehoming homing offers cannot be accepted at present.
Kennels staff describe her as “The best Corso they have ever had”
She is only a year and a half according to her microchip. She has tested exceptionally well with dogs, cats and geese (see pics) and had been child tested and was impeccable.
She is also completely clean in her kennel.
What an incredible dog 🙂 Can any rescue please offer her a space and find her the home she deserves?
Little Sally joined us last week via a rescue we work alongside. Sally is a great girl but she’s complicated. As much as she enjoys the company of people she take a long time to trust and she isn’t keen on over handling, or much handling at all. She’s always happy to see her caregiver but she’s a long independent girl who has quite clear boundaries.
We’re still getting to know her but she’s settling in well 🙂
PLEASE KEEP SHARING 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
UPDATE PLACED :)
PLEASE SHARE FOR A RESCUE SPACE
PLEASE NOTE THIS GIRL IS IN A LOCAL AUTHORITY POUND SO IS LOOKING FOR A RESCUE SPACE AND NOT A PRIVATE HOME YET.
Five year old female Rottie Cross female. Sweet girl
Fully vaccinated?
Can any rescue please offer her a space
When you’re as old as Mmog and Minnie you deserve a deck chair and that’s that and all about it
A little Doe update for those that have been following her story.
Yesterday little Doe had her second eye removed and is doing very well.
This may seem drastic but she was born blind and has never been able to see, her eyes were painful and served no purpose.
Being blind from birth means she copes extremely well with having no sight and is growing into a playful and confident girl, thanks to an amazing foster carer.
What a great dog! To those that support New Hope and make our work possible, we are so grateful ❤️
Jaffa….. always waiting for the opportunity to ambush me!
Morning paddle 🦆
Lovely Bella came into us today after being signed over via an authority.
She’s a nice little mare under ten years old and will make a great little companion pony once she is ready. She had a tough start but things are on the up 🐴
PLEASE KEEP SHARING 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
These two Shamos came in to us today from an authority job. These birds are often used in cockfighting. They are quite difficult as chickens go as the males can be extremely aggressive to other birds so they need a particular set up 🐓
Annabelle and Tia nicely settled into their new home. These mares came in as best friends and they found the best home imaginable where they can continue to be with eachother 🙂
She has the best time everyday that Lil!

Zorka is not much over a year old and an American Bulldog cross, just to be clear she does not fall in to any banned breed category.
She is a super girl with everyone she meets and extremely dog friendly, to the point that she has been used on dog tests.
Her one vice is that she kennel guards/displays. Although this can be quite off putting as soon as you open the kennel door/put her on a lead she is a perfect girl again. The issues are literally when she’s in her kennel. She needs an experienced hand to work on her with this and to find her a befitting home. Shes difficult to move forward because of this. It is it clearly a kennel issue. She’s been walked off site by several different people and with several different dogs and behaves very well.
Is there a RESCUE out there willing to help her? PLEASE SHARE
A very big thank you to all our amazing friends and supporters who have donated so far! We can only help animals like Willow because of you ❤️
Please donate to New Hope if you can

We ended up with Chaz after he was imported from abroad but found himself in great need a couple of years later whilst in the U.K. He’s doing great and has the best placement lined up next month :)
Darling Doe, enjoying life despite everything she’s facing. I’d she’s happy in the moment then we’re happy https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/niall-lester-963?utm_term=aJpQQNxnN
Zorka, who came in very recently with anxiety towards strangers has started to get along much better :) She’s also enjoying off site walks with other dogs now too
Nice little update on mother Dotty. She’s enjoying a break from the puppies and is started to gain weight. She’s a great 🦴
Our little EBT Ruby has been doing so well since she came to us and has proven to be dog friendly. We’ve managed to get her an experienced placement with a colleague of ours so things are looking good for her 🙂
We very recently pulled Daisy from the pound and she’s in a wonderful foster with a friend of ours. From a kennel with an uncertain future to feeling like this 😍 Once she’s upto date with their vet work she will be looking for the right home
Our lovely Doberman lad who was left tied to a fence is doing fab and it looks like we’ve got a future plan sorted for him 👏
