Well..
Because.. it’s MY birthday! I’m 8 today! 09/01/2016. *Note though! Before someone says “ooh 8 is an old dog now!” Watch me run, play, do my tasks and jobs (which I adore by the way and get assessed every year for!) I got soo much sprightly life in me yet! Young at heart or should I say young at paws, always!
We continue to find the joys wherever we can both dog, canine and human, experiences, adventures and most importantly making lots of fun memories (alongside lots of cheese! Always time for cheese!)

Just call me Queen Willow and my best friend King Monty! Rosie’s dog, Ruth’s sister! I know it’s been a few weeks, I hope we all had a lovely Christmas and New Year! Mum had a busy time, thankfully got out of hospital just in time! But then had to go back in between Christmas and New Year for emergency surgery! She really is a complex one that Mummy of mine! We are still in hospital (8 weeks and counting) it isn’t easy, lots of ups and downs but we are getting there slowly and I visit every day, it’s tough but we’re two tough cookies and no matter what I’ll be there #ruthandwillow #myhomeiswhereyouare #assistancedogs #theloveofadog
The bond between a dog and its owner is one I don’t think anyone can ever fully explain but to me it’s like we are one me and Mum, our hearts are intwined and no matter what happens always will be, my soul and hers. I love you so much, I miss you too, please come home soon (Ruth is still in hospital having fought sepsis and fighting secondary complications from her intestinal failure). But we’re not giving up! Please change signs like these. We’re not mad (well I was a little) Mum and I just want to raise education and awareness as assistance dogs covers ALL types of working dogs (there is many) and they also come in all shapes and sizes, through ADAUK, through another charity or owner trained, but we all go through assessments and make sure the dig is trained to the highest standard in both their tasks and public behaviour.

Today I had to jump into action and alert Mummy, I do medical alerts for my Mum and this afternoon she collapsed during a workout she was filming (but shouldn’t have been doing! Naughty Mum! Too much too soon remind her to rest! But I know she’s just desperate to live and enjoy what she can after 8 months in hospital).

It has been a long, long time coming, a lot of waiting, a lot of visiting, a lot of worry, a lot of missing Mummy and whining, sitting by the door, refusing to leave her side at hospital and sitting by her side through every stage. But now she’s.. home! She’s not cured or fixed unfortunately, her health conditions continue to be serious, complex and hard to manage but with lots of support we’re back together again.
