Dogs about Town Professional dog walking and fully licensed boarding (James Clark, License # AW32018)

We are a friendly and flexible family run business who provide dog walking, pet visiting and pet taxi services in and around Cottam, Ingol, Woodplumpton, Higher Bartle and Fulwood. If there is a service that you need and is not listed, please get in touch as we may be able to help (or at least point you in the right direction). We are DBS checked, fully insured and hold a pet first aid certificate so you can be assured that your furry friends are in very good hands.

Hi everyone, as some of you are aware I was involved in the traffic accident on Tag Lane yesterday. I just wanted to let you all know that I am OK and thank everyone for their well wishes and offers of help if needed. I was very lucky and walked away uninjured. We are obviously closed today while I try and sort out what to do about the van and I will keep everyone posted about Monday. Have a lovely weekend ☺️

***Update*** I have hired a van for next week so I will see you as usual, any changes to schedule, I will get in touch

Good morning everyone, we hope you are enjoying the lovely spring sunshine. Just a quick note to say we are closed the week commencing 19th May and reopening on Tuesday, 27th May. If anybody is planning a holiday in May, we still have boarding dates left so please get in touch ☺

On the 1st of June I will be joining my lovely friend and a group of us will be walking 50km in memory of her dad Walter raising money for . Starting at Walter’s favourite football club Manchester United and ending at their family home in Grimsargh. This is a charity incredibly close to their hearts and any donations or shares would be so appreciated. Due to the sad decision by our friends at Jo's Paws Pet Services: Dog Walking & Cat Visits to cease dog boarding, we are receiving a lot of enquiries. Well, I'm not sure how it happened but Dogs about Town is 7 years old today. The time has flown by. Once again, a massive thank you to all of our customers past and present for making this possible. I love my job (yes, even when I'm moaning about how much rain there has been) and could not see myself doing anything else.

On a more sombre note, he have lost a couple of pack members over the last 12 months. Winston and Kip, the OG pack passed away within 2 weeks of each from old age. They are still missed and thought about all of the time. RIP boys, you will always be part of the pack 🐶❤️
