Have you ever thought about running your own pet care business, but not sure where to start? Why not have a Complete Pet Care franchise. We are currently looking for a trusted reliable person to take over the running of our Ashby Branch.

Due to a change in circumstances Karen is having to give up the branch. Karen has built the Ashby Branch up with a good customer base of regular dog walking customers, cat home visit customers and house sitting customer over the last couple of years.

Full training will be given, yearly insurance, GPS tracking app, first aid training, your own dedicated page on the website, email address, help and support and much more is included in your franchise fee.

This is an operational branch with regular customers ready for someone to take over, there is also room to grow the branch even more.

Part time dog walker / pet sitter required

Complete Pet Care Nottingham are looking for self-motivated, trustworthy, reliable member to join the team, to carry out solo dog walking and pet home visits. Based in Nottingham we cover NG5, NG6, NG7, NG8, NG9 NG10

You must have a real passion for animals, be patient, organised, flexible, willing to walk in all weathers and have a driving licence with access to a vehicle.

To start with it will be 3-5 hours a week, with the potential for more hours for the right person. Times of walks and visits vary, but they can be anytime between 8am and 6.30pm, depending on what we have booked in.

Weekends and bank holidays off unless we have cat visits booked, but no visits will be booked without checking your availability first.

To apply for this position applicants must
MUST DRIVE and have access to a vehicle as this job involves travelling between client’s homes.
Have a clean DBS or willing to apply for one
Have a pet first aid qualification or happy to obtain a pet first aid qualification.
Have a smart phone in order to access our GPS tracking app which is required for dog walks / pet visits

🐾🐾Important Information🐾🐾

All dog owners - there’s a bad virus going around right now. Keep an eye on your pets' behaviour and clean their paws after each walk. Change water daily and, try to limit your dogs' interaction with other dogs. 🐶

Vets are reporting higher than usual occurrenced of gastroenteritis in dogs which is fitting with a wider phenomenon as reported by The Small Animal Veterinary Surveillance Network (SAVSNET). So far we have found that the cases seen- whilst clearly being poorly- have responded well to treatment.
The British Veterinary Association (BVA) advise that with prompt veterinary treatment almost all dogs make a full recovery from this uncommonly violent gastric bug.

How Is This Vomiting Bug Different?
According to Vet Dr Danielle Greenberg of SAVSNET, this vomiting bug is unusual due to:

Prolific vomiting of 5 or more episodes in a 12 hour period which can stop for a period (such as overnight) and then starts again
Dogs are often unable to keep water down at peak vomiting stage
Anorexia and lethargy for 2-5 days
Diarrhoea: Most dogs have ‘gravy-like’ diarrhoea
Full recovery can take 5-10 days

What We Know So Far:
This outbreak is affecting areas across the Midlands, Wales, the North of England and Northern Ireland
The illness is most likely a virus but has not yet been identified.
Seems to be dog-specific, thankfully humans don’t appear to be at risk.
This is not caused by Parvo or Salmonella

Complete Pet Care Ashby is a franchise branch of Complete Pet Care UK Limited, and is run by Danielle Cadd, and her lovely team of dog walkers, who are all fully insured, DBS checked and first aid trained.

Complete Pet Care UK Limited was established in 2010 by Sarah Cantrill. Before setting up Complete Pet Care Sarah worked within the prison services handling and training specialist search dogs for just over 10yrs.

We strives to consistently provide high customer satification by providing excellent service and quality pet care at an acceptable and fair rate. Our customer base has been built mainly on recommendation and local advertising.

Being pet owners ourselves we know how much love and affection pets bring to your home and how much they become part of the family. When you can't be home for them, whether its because of work, holiday or other commitments we will take care of your pets with the same love and attention you give to them and of course your pets will be in safe hands.
