Due to road diversions on Lindsay Road, the traffic on Ferry Road and the surrounding area is a lot heavier than usual and is liable for tailbacks. Give yourself plenty of time to get yourself and your dogs to the shop. Many thanks.

Please note that for the week, there are road works on Ferry Road, so it is advised to allow extra time for parking and/or dropping off when bringing your dog to the shop.

***Important Message to Our Customers and Their Braw Dugs***

As you will be aware, many events over the last couple of years have been very challenging for Braw Dugs Dog Grooming Studio with many factors being out with our control. Throughout this time, we have been very proud that we were been able to come through all this as well as we have done and cannot thank you enough for all your support during this time.

Unfortunately, more recently some challenges have been rather more difficult to deal with, namely the increasing costs for materials, supplies, and energy and therefore with effect from the 1st January 2023 we will reluctantly have to increase the prices for our dog grooming services. This will mean that prices will increase for each service provided as follows:

Large Dog/Hand Strip: Previously was £47.50 will now be £50.00

Small/Medium Dog: Previously was £32.50 will now be £35.00

Puppy: Previously was £22.50 will now be £25.00

Nail Clipping: Previously was £6.00 will now be £7.50

We hope you that due to the circumstances you will understand our need to do this and that you and your dogs will continue to use and support Braw Dugs Dog Grooming Studio, for which we very much appreciate and thank you for doing so.

To all our Braw Customers and their Braw Dugs we hope that you all have had a Merry Christmas!

As you all will be aware 2021 has been a challenging year and none more so than when dealing with Covid restrictions, the closure of the shop and the subsequent rescheduling of appointments. We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this period, it was all very much appreciated!

Braw Dugs Dog Grooming Studio is currently closed for our annual Christmas and New Year break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone again from Thursday 06/01/2022.

In the meantime, we would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year when it comes along and hope that 2022 will be less disruptive!

Booking enquiries will be be dealt with once we reopen, however please note that we are still very busy after catching up with cancelled bookings from when we were closed due to Covid restrictions for our existing customers that we are not able to take on any bookings for new customers for the time being.

Please be advised, that as we have had to catch up with existing customer's appointments that were cancelled during the recent closure due to Covid restrictions, our diary is now fully booked for the foreseeable future and we are not able to take on any new customers for the time being. ***Important message to our customers***

As you may be aware, we were closed recently due to Covid restrictions and have now re-opened as these restrictions have been lifted.

We would like to give a big THANK YOU to all our customers and their braw dugs for sticking by us and for your patience and understanding whilst we were closed and allowing for their dog's appointments to be rescheduled as we catch up. It is very much appreciated.

Hopefully as the vaccine roll-out continues and as restrictions are lifted we will continue to groom your dogs without further interruption.

Please note, whilst we have managed to reschedule our existing customer's cancelled appointments, we are now fully booked and will not be able to take on any new bookings until July at the earliest.

In the meantime, we look forward to catching up with our customers and their dogs once again, thank you!

***Important Update to our Customers***

Following the Scottish Government’s briefing on Tuesday 23rd February 2021, it was announced that Tier 4 Covid restrictions will continue to at least the 26th April 2021. In view of this Braw Dugs Dog Grooming Studio will remain closed until then.

If you have an appointment with us we will be contacting you to advise that your appointment will be rescheduled from when we are able to reopen again. We are currently contacting customers on a rolling week-by-week basis, so if you have not heard anything from us yet, don’t worry, we will be in contact with you in due course.

Once we are able to reopen, we will then contact you again to advise what your new appointment details will be. As with the previous lockdown, we will be aiming to rebook new appointments in the order that they were cancelled.

We appreciate the frustration that the continued lockdown has caused to everyone and especially for their dogs, but hope by keeping with the lockdown and in conjunction with the vaccination roll-out that we may hopefully be able to reopen sooner rather than later.

***Important Message to all our Customers***

Following much consideration, due to the Covid 19 pandemic and for the need for Social Distancing, Braw Dugs Dog Grooming Studio has taken the decision to close the shop for the time being, with effect from the week beginning 18th January 2021, due to the high infection rate of Covid 19.

Whilst the Scottish Government makes exception for dog welfare purposes, it is very selective and restrictive, i.e., clipping of heavy coats and claws, and unfortunately does not allow for regular grooming for aesthetic purposes.

In addition, for health considerations to the our customers and the public it has been decided that it is wise and the best for all concerned to remain closed until the rate of Covid 19 infection is reduced.

In the meantime, we will continue to be guided by Scottish Government advice and look forward to seeing you all again as soon as it is safe for us to reopen.

For all customers who have already made bookings, we will be in contact with everyone in due course to reschedule your appointments. This will mean that if the shop has to be closed for a month, then all our customers appointments will be moved forward a month.

Finally, until we can groom your dogs again, we suggest that where possible, that you brush your dog’s coat regularly and more importantly combing the coat out. This will help the air circulate through your dog’s coat keeping it cool and comfortable. If you do need to wash your dog, please make sure the coat is knot free, otherwise the coat will get more knotted when drying.

Once again, we thank you for your patience and understanding and hope to see you all again sooner than later.
