Hup-hup (up up) and front paws up are both fantastic to teach to your dog. Confidence-building, easily accomplished, great if they're a bit unsure about something or would just like something to make walks more interesting.
A beautiful distance hup-hup demonstrated here by Tig, aged 5.

What a clever horse!
A discrimination task for Cian, learning to identify what a dog looks like.
This kind of training keeps him mentally stimulated, which.is especially valuable now he's not able to be ridden due to a leg injury.

His silly dance 🥰😆 Progression to finding the red Kong outside, previously only done in his stable.
Arousal levels are higher with more distractions, you can see by how much he opens his mouth to take the treat.
I'm feeding lower as it helps to calm him when he's excited.

Have you tried this with your animal (dog/cat/horse/other?)
Button Hands teaches the animals to move away from food, offer a nose touch to the other hand (or in this case a second person's hand, thanks Jane!) then the food becomes available.
So - food closed in one hand, other hand open, close by to begin with. Animal sniffs the food then has to work out to touch the open hand (the "button") in order for the food hand to open.
Cian knows a hand touch behaviour already so we started him off at a higher level.
Thank you @coulsonj86 for your excellent target hand and carrot supplying skills.
