Yesterday saw the end of our initial 4 week programme.
There was so much improvement to see all around and I had 3 young handlers in class too, who all did a fabulous job.
Big shout out to young Ada who’s training Hector on her own in classes and their relationship is truly blossoming 🐾🌟

Keep practicing everything we’ve done so far! Support is always on hand 🖐️

Devastating…

Police are appealing for witnesses after a dog died and a woman was injured after in incident involving two other dogs in Sizewell. The incident took place on the beach near to Sizewell Hall at around 8am on Tuesday 13 August.

Inspector Liz Casey said: “Officers are investigating the incident and working with partners to ensure dogs are controlled appropriately in the area and that all that use the beach and surrounding area are safe.

“Once the investigation is concluded we will assess all and any appropriate measures in regards to those involved.

“Please be aware it is your responsibility to ensure your dog is controlled and that it does not endanger the safety of any others.”

Lead walks for Ghyll and Ollie, both spaniels. Ollie is under training with his lovely owner and has been working with us for a couple of days. Huge progress and a lovely calm walk along the lanes and fields… no pulling 👌🐾❤️

Saturday was just perfect for some dog training on the beach at Sizewell. The sun shone, the tide was low and the breeze gentle 👌🐾❤️ There were lots of distractions, including the Park Run and a beach swim, that is without all the normal dog walkers! All of the dogs, in spite of being excited, worked beautifully. It makes me incredibly proud to watch the partnership between dog and handler blossom, to see the dog only had eyes for their handler and the distractions become irrelevant. Well done guys - proud of you all as ever 🐾❤️

Well the weather was most certainly better this week - thank goodness! We had amazing sessions and really got the dogs thinking. Focus was the order of the day and the dogs settled really quickly in to the work. I think everyone got a fair few steps in too! Well done everyone as always. Team work 👌❤️
