Quick trip up a mast yesterday to make sure all is ok…found a badly chaffed spinnaker halyard.
So I’ve chopped out the bad bit, hot knifed and whipped the ends so they can be used again for something else and made a replacement halyard

Meet Raven the Doberman….her recall is great, on her way back from a walk she’s great and walks on a slack lead, but in the way to a walk she gets all a bit over excited…. So she’s now been treated to a new Yachtdogs figure of 8 lead to help calm her down…happy walking 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Today is a good day…I received a ginormous box of rope offcuts from a rigger friend of mine. It’s all brand new and unused…..lots of colours and sizes to choose from….who can see a colour they like….form an orderly queue!!

These are a great pair of leads collected today, but they’ve been a real fight to make! Old rope is never easy to work with, but with patience and determination it’s done…off to a Dalmatian and a Labrador…. Have fun 🐾💦☀️🌊
