Oh go on, there must be someone brave enough to take on this little madam. She'll love and cuddle you one minute and turn like the flick of a switch if she's startled. Underneath that slightly edgy side, who wouldn't want a great mouser to keep the vermin out of the feed stores. If you know any stable or farm owners please share. Thank you. Neutered, chipped, health checked and vaccinated.
Exciting news indeed, we met our new Mum today, I do think it's going to be alright!! Can't wait to explore our new house. A happy ending for 2 or "The shed cats, left behind when their previous owner moved, leaving them living in a neighbour's shed for far too long. Now we just need to find a home for Mr T so that's he's not on his own too long. Check out our web page for more information about lovely cats near you go to www.cats.org.uk click on adoptions and enter your postcode.
Update, Barry the bin cat has a new home and a new name. He's very nervous having spent too many weeks living on his wits on the streets. He will need to be an indoor cat for months until he trusts you enough to come when he's called. If you think you've got what it takes to turn a cat's life around please email us on [email protected]
You can't just have one #nationalpetday , every day is pet day. They love us and rely on us and in return we must return that love every day of their lives, even when they're old.
Montoo needs a grown up family who truly understand cats. She doesn't want to be messed with but does come for a fuss on her own terms.
I SPOKE TOO SOON! Montoo has been stood up. She needs an adult family or maybe teenagers. She's not worried about children but if she's startled she might try to defend herself. She'd be ideally suited to a home with a garden and space to explore but she'd also like to sleep on your feet at night. To arrange to meet her please email [email protected]
I'll just sit here.
Montoo's elderly owner had to go into care leaving her home alone and frightened of the people who were coming in to feed her. She's 12 but has a clean bill of health and is looking for a home without young children, preferably with a confident cat owner. She may hide and hiss for a few days but it doesn't take her long to come round. If you think you've got what it takes to take on a bit of a character please email, we can't keep up with too many Facebook comments. [email protected]
Cats 2022
These are just some of the cats we've helped through the Deal branch this year. We still have a long list of cats waiting to come in, please- adopt-don't shop.
What do you mean, I'm in the way.
This lovely boy came to us as a smelly unneutered Tom, he'd developed FIV and needed to be an indoor cat but that didn't prevent him from finding someone to love, even if he does get his head in the way of the TV.
Update, this is Oreo who got lost over a year ago whilst staying just temporarily with a relative in Dover. After a quick health check today he was joyfully reunited with his Dad and is back on the sofa cuddled up in front of the TV. Whilst at the vet's we took the liberty of micro chipping him, just in case. Don't you just love a happy ending. Thank you so much to the lady who contacted us about him.
Cinders, just tasting my arm.
Update, this adorable cat has gone to our Adoption Centre at Bredhurst where she'll hopefully find her new home really quickly. Cinderella, Cinders for short, just wants a cuddle. The danger comes when you want to walk away, that's when she's inclined to fetch you back with a paw or hold on with her teeth.
For adoption
Whiskers might be one of our senior kittizens but it doesn't stop her from playing, especially when there's valerian spray involved.
When a cat shows you his belly it doesn't mean he wants it stroked or ruffled, Buddy, on the other hand, is so laid back he's just loving his new home and his new Mum and Dad. He came to us very worried having been chased by a toddler and quite traumatised but I think it's safe to say that he approves of the home we found him.
Clever Lizzie
Great news, Lizzie is going to her new home straight after New year. She's so affectionate and playful, a real time-waster. We're trying to encourage her to eat more slowly. Trouble is she's rather smart. She needs a family with time and patience to help her relax.
CATNIP
Update. Lynx, now called Lincoln is a sucker for some catnip and has recovered from his flea allergy so will be heading to his new home very soon.
Let me out.
Lovely lady off for vet check and second vaccination. I think she wants out.
On the mend
Back in his familiar foster home and so much better than before.
Molly's new start, from stray to princess
It's safe to say that Molly likes her new home 😍
Bran the broken came to us very wobbly with a nasty sore ear, he's getting slightly less wobbly but unfortunately the ear hasn't improved. He needs to be seen by a specialist neurologist before we can go ahead and do major surgery on his ear canal. We already have a potential new home for him if all goes well but he's going to cost us a very considerable amount of money before he can get to that stage. Any donations that you can make would be very gratefully received as I'm sure you'll appreciate the pandemic has reduced the amount of money coming in through our charity shops and fund raising events. Thank you for your kindness. www.cats.org.uk/deal
