Based in Eaton Bray Bedfordshire and covering areas such as Edlesborough, Dagnall, Northall, Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable and surrounding areas. I offer the very best in all dog grooming services. I was trained at the London Academy of Professional Groomers to the highest City and Guilds standard and work from well equipped clean premises. I undertake all those tasks necessary to ensure your dog's comfort, hygiene and good looks.

I don't believe dogs should suffer for their beauty and so, unlike some other groomers, my first priority is to groom your dog without causing any stress or discomfort.

Does your dog get stressed or scared before visiting the dog groomer?

Does your dog come back from the groomers hyperactive, panting and stressed?

Does your dog sleep for long periods of time after a visit to the groomers?

Is your current dog groomer experienced in dog behavior and can understand canine body language?

At Vicky’s Dog Care I understand and recognize stress signals in your dog before they escalate to panic or aggression. I will never force your dog to do something that it doesn't want to do. Instead, I will encourage your dog to enjoy its grooming experience with reward based training and desensitization techniques.

While a dog-groomer needs great technical skill, kindness and patience are essential. I never have the need to cage a dog. I spend time getting to know my canine clients. It gives me enormous satisfaction to see the results of my work on a dog who has thoroughly enjoyed their visit.

Owning and caring for a dog is great fun and immensely rewarding. But it is also a big responsibility. If you own or are responsible for a dog, even on a temporary basis and need advice on nutrition, exercise, grooming and general healthcare I would be pleased to hear from you.
