Calling all dog owners 🐾

Who would be interested in a nail trimming clinic? To be held in our treatment room at K9 Water Treadmill - Priory Farm

🐶Do you struggle to trim your dog’s nails?
🐶 Are you nervous to trim your dog’s nails?
🐶 Is your dog nervous about having their nails trimmed?
🐶 Do you have a new puppy and would like them to have a good experience in having their nails trimmed?

We have teamed up with Your Dog Groomers to offer nail trimming for your dog.

Did you know that long nails can cause a dog’s whole body posture to change? Dogs will shift their weight backwards in order to relieve pressure, which creates stress on the joints and affects the way a dog moves. Their muscles begin to compensate which increases their risk of arthritis, injury and pain. Long nails can get caught on furniture, carpet and clothes causing them to tear.

They should be kept short enough so that they do not touch the ground on a flat level surface.

A lovely recent review from Wella’s owner, who stayed with us for 2 weeks.
Whilst with us, Wella used our 20 metre horse walker daily, carrot stretches daily, turnout and 10 water treadmill sessions during her 2 weeks stay with us.

Having a spring clean ( I know today wasn’t very spring like 🌧️) today and found a 2013 article of Horse & Rider Magazine featuring our very own Micky and our ECB Equine Spa & Aqua Treadmill cold water spa.
Over 11 years of rehabilitating horses and it feels like yesterday that we started! 🐴💦
