Poor baby now they are safe

Tonight we’ve assisted Kent police after this beauty’s owner was sadly found deceased at the property after a routine check, being out of hours the police officer knew just who to call.

Welcome to 18 year old Lucy whose world has just fallen apart, although I can’t bring her owner back I shall be her guardian until we find that special place for her.

One thing is clear is Lucy has been a very much loved part of her owners world, there are pictures and drawings of her everywhere - so heartwarming.

In these situations we hold the cat for 7 days to allow a next of kin to make contact and if after 7 days there has been no contact we can start putting plans into motion.

I lost a point and I don’t care!!!!

Had a slight mishap and my gums accidentally slipped onto moms hand and then when i tried to remove her hand my claws got stuck in her thumb - sorry mom!!

Meanwhile downstairs little miss goody two shoes has another point, she even behaved when Stinky came in and stole her mouse, she just looked at him and didn‘t get him - she really is on her best behaviour as normally she would have hightailed it up the garden in hot pursuit of him!

Good Morning everyone,

We hope you are all well and having a lovely christmas holiday.

We are in need of a recovery suit for one of our cats that goes into surgery next week to ensure she doesnt lick her wounds and become ill.
I understand everyone is tight right now with the christmas period however we'd be so thankful to anyone who can donate one of our amazon wishlist please.
We are struggling alot this month and still don't have enough to cover both of our vet appoitments for both of our cats and will be fundraising more in the new year to try and cover any debt we have left.
If you can spare even just 50p it would mean a lot.

We have almost 800 followers now and and if everyone could spare 50p it would well entirely cover all the costs involved for both treatments for our rescue cats.

Also lastly we've had quite a few emails and messages regarding people who are struggling for dog and cat food this month too. Unfortunately due to our tight funds we have had to put a pause on our little food bank we started back in April and we will resume when we have spare funds to help.
We are really sorry, we are trying to save as much as we can for the two cats we have that require treatment. I am so happy that for the time we did it we have managed to help many cats and dogs have full bellies when they had nothing to eat. No pets deserves to go hungry.

Can we ask that anyone who is in desperate need for food for their pets this Christmas to reach out to Pet Angels Wearside - PAWs They are ran by 3 amazing ladies who really do everything they can to ensure no pet or person goes hungry.
Despite they being based in Seaham they may beable to help those in Stockton area too.

We are really sorry again and hope to resume this again within the next month or so.
