Eek it’s New Year’s Eve… I love new year, it always fills me with positivity. My favourite thing to do it look back through my phone photos.. back to the positives of summer and remind myself that winter is always hard, but better weather is always just around the corner…. I’d love for you to post one of your favourite photos from this year below!!! It’s been a rough year in so many ways but for sure we’d all give up if we focus too long on these negatives….

4 years ago today I lost my boy, my best friend and my horse of a lifetime. Life has not been the same since… we lived and learned everything together and I can’t believe it still hurts so bad after so long…. Loved playing with the AI image maker as it bought back so many happy memories 💖

So after a family/ business meeting today, my amazing mum and business partner is going to step back slightly to look after and spend time with my equally amazing dad as he recovers from a long stint of chemotherapy as well as some other things too…. This will restrict the time I can be off the yard, I welcome anyone to travel to us for lessons or massages but I will be limited to the time I can travel to you. We still have part livery spaces where I can massage, coach and train all at our Merrywood farm base…..

Had an amazing holiday despite having a stinking cold… today we landed home at 2am after listening to 4hrs of equine podcasts… I felt inspired and this morning back to work I go!!! My enthusiasm is wearing off a bit now though… Nose like a tap and feeling pants but was lovely to have some autumn sunshine and I think my furry beasts were pleased to see me…. First day nearly ticked off!!! 🤧😷

Poles are fantastic to keep your schooling session productive and beneficial as well as fun!!! You can do them in hand, on the lunge or ridden… flat on the floor or reduce the distance slightly and raise them up.
