I came downstairs this morning to find mom Dawn had moved all the 1.5 week old kittens. I found 3 quickly, she had moved them here before. I could hear the other one squealing in the kitchen somewhere, but couldn't find it. Following the sound I found it was loudest near the top of a kitchen cupboard. I still couldn't find the kitten. By putting my head sideway on the ceiling I saw there was a slit at the back of the cupboard. The kitten had fallen from the ceiling to the floor down the back of the cupboard. I called the RSPCA in desperation. They told me thier insurance would not cover them, and to call a builder. I called a DIY guy I had used before, he was excellent. Steve gave excuses at the job he was at and came round in about 10 minutes. He pulled stuff out of the cupboard and gently broke the back from it. Dawn was frantic, I was frantic, the kitten was franticly squealing. Steve pulled the wriggling kitten from the base of the cupboard and showed Dawn. What a hero. The kitten seems to have no injuries and is very lucky to be alive, it is back with its siblings.
