Perthshire Gundog Rescue has been set up to help rescue unwanted Gundogs & Gundog Breeds who for whatever reason need a new home. The Rescue is committed to the welfare of all dogs that come into our care, and endeavour to make a positive contribution to their lives, no matter what their circumstances. We aim also to educate people about Gundog Breeds BEFORE they take the plunge, and are often ca

lled by people wondering about their suitability to own one of these, intelligent dog breeds. We also aim to be a support to owners with gundog breeds who may need our help with concerns such as training, behaviour or nutrition. We work with Qualified and very experienced trainers, behaviourists, vets , plus many more to give everyone the support they need to fulfill their dog's lives. We also pride ourselves in getting people actively involved with Gundog training which helps hugely in stimulating those working bred dogs. It also gives people a better understanding and life with their dog. We rely solely on, donations and making things in order to be able to take on and help the next Gundog Breed.

You may recognise this face, he was taken to the Dogs Trust by the person who found him. He sat patiently waiting for his owner to look for him and is grateful for everybody's shares, but still he waits........

Microchip details are out of date, so he'll be joining the other hopeful dogs in kennels waiting for their owners 😪

Please, keep on sharing as his owner may not have social media and somebody just may recognise him.

This makes me beyond happy. For a dog who came to me with a list of issues, some so Scientifically mind boggling from a vet behaviourist and being medicated for being a lunatic basically, here he is in the best home I found for him, no medication, a raw diet and a new family who are dedicated to him. So proud of you Skye and your mum and dad 🥰 this makes all the tough stuff worth it I tell you 🥰🥰🥰🥰

You forget how small he was 🧡 That was the start of the croc 🐊 fetish 🤣 Mr Ganoush aka Bubba continues to do well in his recovery. He’s starting to protest the crate rest but the horse liki mat is keeping him busy some of the time 😜
