It’s official I can now call myself a Grand Prix rider! 🎉🙌🏻🥂 It wasn’t perfect by any stretch as Lorenzo got spooked by a noise which then unsettled him meaning we had quite a few spooks🙄, which did impact the score 🤷🏼‍♀️🙃 but we showed some really good work 😃 gaining 7s for the Piaffe, Passage and changes! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 And I was so happy with my Zigzag! 🥳 Lifetime goal complete! Now we just need to work on perfecting it all with less spooking 😅 and I will be living the dream 🥰 Huge thank you to Mum for taking the day off to come and warm us up! Well, what a first day that was really going out in Lorenzo style 😂🙄🤦🏼‍♀️ Let’s just say he didn’t like the Christmas trees 🎄 Even though he was very spooked, actually he was pretty terrified, we still managed to get our Piaffe (just about). Two of the judges had us on 7s which is a big positive that I am going to take away from today’s test and well, at least we finished it 😂😂 Thank you @melissa Daws for all your help and support in the freezing cold!! And to Joe Bright Dressage and Wodam for showing Lorenzo the arena! Me: “collect collect collect” and forgot about the energy in the passage 🙄 and then almost got carried away in the piaffe which we got a 7 for 🙌🏻 almost did too many steps and fluffed the transition to passage 🤣😅 but I don’t care as today it was a great Piaffe lol 😅 Practice makes progress!!! Anyway I had a lovely ride on Lorenzo today no spooks, no mistakes just a nice confidence giving round! Which is what we needed!
