Looks like it’s going to be hot one this week , this is why I always look at feels like as be hotter than actual temp , early morning walks I think 😴🥰

Good afternoon everyone!

Extreme heat on the way!🌡☀️🌡⚠️☀️

It's a glorious afternoon across the chilterns with all of us seeing some warm sunmer sunshine!☀️

Temperature are currently sitting at a very nice 26.4°C out there, and this will be on the rise as we head through the rest of this afternoon.

Attention to next week as we are heading into some unusually warm weather. A very warm few days to come indeed, but on Tuesday we are going to see some dangerous heat moving in. 35 °C is likely here on Tuesday, and there are extreme heat warnings for this. We haven't seen this kind of temperature for a couple of years.

I know some people will just call it summer, but people with health problems and the elderly can really suffer. For anyone else, the next few days is looking amazing if you are a fan of the heat.

Just look at the temperatures on the charts for the next few days!🌡🌡🌡

Later this week there is a risk that the heat will trigger some potentially rather large storms. If you love a storm, you might be in luck later in the week.

Unfortunately Scooby baby gained his angel wings last week he went peacefully at home with his owners and the vets with him 💙he was nearly 14 years old and was only last few weeks he acted it bless him . I’ve walked him ( well more like he walked me ) for about 9 years when his family got him from a rescue let’s say he had his quirks but when he showed you some love it was best thing then next second he’d shove you off the sofa or steal your pillow ! 😆
I’m going to miss him so much and so grateful to his family for letting me say my goodbyes . My thoughts are with his family but I’m sure Knowing he’s not in pain anymore and running around and eating whatever he wants over that rainbow bridge helps the heartbreak we are all feeling 🐾💔 love you Scooby doo x

Exciting news ! Please meet the newest member of the team / family 😍
Lots of you know I’ve been having lots van problems and as much as I loved her we had been together for 10 years but it was time to say goodbye 😢
So this beauty is starting work with us this week .
Hopefully all dogs like it , it already has been approved by 1 🤣
She has been insulated , electric fan and a flettner vent to keep dogs cool also has aircon.
New cages that are lockable by Top dog cages😍

Just want to say thank you to all my clients putting up with all problems with old one , hopefully this one behaves for good few years 🤞🏻
Huge thanks to my friend John who helped me van shop and taking me last 2 Saturdays to get her cages in & just supoirting me with all stress that came with it all .

Also thanks to my mum who drove me to buy her and also supported me with it all .

Happy Easter everyone just reminder to be careful of your Easter treats

After Christmas, Easter is the second most common time for vets to see cases of toxicity in dogs.

Keep hot cross buns as well as chocolate out of reach of dogs 🐣

Just some advise for ways help your pet for New Year’s Eve 🐾

Just a reminder to prepare our pets for NYE:
1. If your pet is scared of fireworks, allow them access to a place where they like to hide and feel safe, maybe in their crate, under the bed/sofa or in the laundry.
2. Close all curtains to minimise light flashes.
3. Play some music in the background, try Bach, or some dogs find audiobooks soothing.
4. Have lots of their favourite treats and toys ready so that you can engage them in games and fun times for distraction, if possible.
5. If they are upset or scared, cuddling them will not 'reinforce their fear'. Please do comfort them if it helps them to feel better.
6. Make sure your pet is microchipped and has ID such as a tag/collar on, just in case they get lost.
7. Ask your vet about meds - some pets who are phobic need them to prevent a panic attack.

This time of year you need keep eye out for grass seeds , there’s list of symptoms to look out for but lost helps know where look . I’ve already found few on couple of dogs and we mainly stick to woods rather than fields with grass .

So looks like it’s going to be hot one over the weekend so do keep eye on your pets and walk the dogs early before gets too hot , also potentially thunder so any pets that scared of it be prepared .
Looks like maybe hot next week also so I’ll be keeping eye on weather to decide if I need to do early walks and letting you all know .

The latest forecast for “feel like temperatures” for thecoming days. Feel like temperatures factor in the sun strength and humidity. As you can see it will feel very warm, especially on Saturday even tho real air temps will be at around 27-28°. 🌡️☀️☀️

Thunder storms are still on the cards too! I’m watching the charts closely.

Some of April’s walks , yes there is pics of dogs with sticks I do supervise them and to be honest only one that ends up hurt is me! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I don’t throw sticks as it can be dangerous and I stop them from running with them too . 🐶

Had heartbreaking news yesterday this gorgeous boy has gained his angel wings 😭
Looked after him a month ago and he had been unwell but seemed pick up the weekend I saw him but unfortunately he never fully recovered 😔
He was such a cheeky chap trying help while I cleaned him out and always demanded food soon as I walked in !
I loved looking after him and I’m going miss him so much, my thoughts are with his family who gave him a amazing life full of love 💔
