2024 Antibiotic Amnesty
Our practice is taking part in the 2024 Antibiotic Amnesty.
Throughout November 2024 we are asking pet owners to return any unused or leftover antibiotic medications to us for safe disposal.
Please drop off any unused medications to us at the practice. You can hand them in to a vet, nurse or the reception team.
This medication might be left-over from a recent prescription, antibiotics that you didn’t need or out-of-date medication.
Let’s keep antibiotics working, together! #AntibioticAmnesty #onehealth

ENRICHMENT IDEA
Scatter feeding or “treat hunting” is a fun and easy enrichment activity for your cat or dog. Not only do they get a tasty treat, but it also engages their natural hunting instincts and behaviors. 🐾
Take a look at our receptionist Hannah’s flat cat Pepito demonstrating in this video, and share with us in the comments any videos of your pets giving this a try! 😄

We’re encouraging the return of out of date and unused antibiotics
This month, we’re working with the vet sector and the NHS to encourage the return of out-of-date and unused antibiotics to help tackle the growing issue of antimicrobial resistance. During our amnesty, we are asking our clients to return out-of-date and unused medicines to our practices for safe disposal.
