A short video from the fish room. I don't normally have a spawning mop in this tank. I dropped one in to clean it and the rainbows were straight on it. The male Boesemani Rainbow coloured up and was very unhappy about the Red Rainbows getting in on the action. I won't be keeping any of these eggs as they will be hybrids and I don't want any mixed genes in our fish. This tank is just a holding tank for the different species groups that I have. I have quite a lot of stuff coming through in the fish room which will be available to my customers. Currently I have M.Goldiei fry, M.lacustris eggs (a load of these), M.boesemani eggs, betta fry, endler guppies, Bristle Nose plecos, CPD fry and eggs, Blue Albino Guppies (high grade), mud guppy fry, Pseudomugil gertrudae eggs, Golden Wonder Panchax fry and eggs and a load of Neon Dwarf Rainbow Fish.

This video is from my fishroom. It's been a struggle recently to find good female bettas for display tanks so I decided to cut out the middle man and breed my own. I picked up a beautiful pair of koi bettas from @southernaquaticsandpets a few weeks ago. The pair has already had a couple of batches of eggs but the male isn't proving to be a caring father. He keeps eating the eggs, in fact the last batch he ate soo many he couldn't swim and was rocking on the bottom with the biggest belly I've ever seen on a fish. I thought that he had done himself in but no, he busy building another nest. Despite his efforts I have managed to get a small number of fry, only about 20 or so but they are growing fast. Beautiful day spent at The Chelsea Flower Show today. Water and water features were there in abundance this uear. This display was by Quist and what a display it was too.

Caught a pair of clownfish spawning after I did a water change in a clients aquarium. The water was a little cloudy after I had flushed and drained the return pump chamber. Its quite a good video as it shows the larger female depositing the eggs and the male fussing around and then fertilising the batch.

As in anticipation of my fishroom nearing completion my stunning pair of hand picked Kribensis decided to have babies in their holding tank. If the fry are half as good looking as the parents then these should be pretty good. The parents really are as good looking as in the video.
